Can the 7-Way Adapter part # 30717 be Used by Just Plugging in the 4-Way

Hi can I use this part to connect my 2010 Honda Odyssey to a pop up camper without having to connect the extra wires? i.e. Can I just connect the 4-way on one side and the 7-way on the other? Thx!

If you do not need the additional functions beyond the trailer lighting functions that a 4-way carries you can use the part # 30717 by just plugging in the 4-way to it and you would be ready to go.

You would want to tape up the additional wires up and out of the way.
