Will the Hydrastar Adapter for Factory Brake Controllers Work with a 2015 GMC Sierra

I have a 2015 GMC 2500 HD Duramax with factory brake control do I need this controller adapter ? The compatibility list stops at 2013 for Chevrolet and GMC .

First, check to see if the factory brake controller on your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 has an electric over hydraulic mode. I know that the new Ram's have that mode and if your Chevy also does then you would not need any sort of adapter.

The Hydrastar adapter # HBA-CAM fits 2007 to present GM factory brake controllers. It will work provided that you have a Gen 6 or newer Hydrastar brake actuator with the following serial number:

HBA-10 serial number 313800 or higher
HBA-12 serial number 705700 or higher
HBA-16 serial number 506100 or higher
