Troubleshooting HydraStar EOH Actuator Not Apply Brakes Correctly

My trailer hydrastar actuator is working but it looks like its not Supplying enough pressure to the brake calipers, and always it was loud when applying brakes and suddenly it became very quiet and is working but just not enough to hold the wheels

There are a few things that could be causing the issue you are having.

First you were looking at the HydraStar Actuator # HBA-10, which is for drum brakes. If this is the actuator you have then you will need to replace it with the # HS381-8067 which is designed for disc brakes since you have disc brakes. The drum brake version only has 1000 PSI where the disc brake version has 1600 PSI.

If you do have the correct actuator then I recommend bleeding the brakes. To bleed the brakes you will want to have a buddy helping, and refer to page 6 of the written instruction manual that I included.
