Lippert Landing Gear Recommendation for a 2013 Cougar Fifth Wheel Trailer 244RL

I would like to replace the factory landing gear on my 2013 Cougar Fifth Wheel model 244RL with heavier duty units. Would this universal unit fit? I guess the major issue is the width of the legs and whether they would fit into the factory leg brackets welded to the trailer.

The Lippert Landing Gear part # LC333964 will fit your fifth wheel trailer. At worst you would need to find a qualified welder to move the brackets on your trailer so that they will match up with the landing gear set.

If the distance from outside to outside of your landing gear brackets are 17-1/2 inches this would fit and work well.

We do have the Lippert landing gear for your Montana but #LC333964 is not the correct part. The Montana line has specific legs designed for it. You'll need #LC178653 for the lead leg and #LC178652 for the follow leg.
