To flat tow your 2010 Ford F-150 behind an RV, you will need several items. First, Roadmaster Base Plate Kit, # 495-1A. I have included installation details below.

Next, you will need a tow bar. Take a look at RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, # RM-520.

Third, you will need safety cables as required by law. I recommend the RoadMaster 68 inch Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, # RM-643.

Next, you will need a lighting kit. For a temporary lighting solution, use the Magnetic Towing Light Kit, # RM-2120. These are magnetic and plug into a 4-Way on the tow vehicle. For a more permanent solution, use Tail Light Isolating Diode System with Wiring Harness, # 38955. I have included two videos show a demonstration and installation of this diode kit.

To add a braking system to the towed vehicle, use the Roadmaster 9400 Portable Braking System, # RM-9400.
