Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Honda CR-V and Civic
Question:
I am interested in bike rack SA805BL. I have 2 vehicles. A 2014 Honda CR-V and a 2014 Honda Civic. I want to be able to use this bike rack on either vehicle. 1. Is that possible? 2. Do I also need the Hatch Hugger SA3035 for either of these vehicles? Appreciate your help.

I checked with Saris and the Saris Bones Bike Rack part # SA805BL that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for both your 2014 Honda Civic and your 2014 Honda CR-V. Saris also recommends you use the Hatch Huggers part # SA3035 on both vehicles to replace the side hooks.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
