Will the rp26003 except a 2 5/16s ball. I have a 2 5/16s hitch on my trailer

If your 2-5/16 inch ball has a 1 inch diameter shank, it will fit in the Reese Sway-Control Bracket, # RP26003, which you referenced. However most have a 1-1/4 inch shank. If you need a properly sized ball, you could use # 63847. The only other bracket like this we carry is for 1-1/4 inch ball mounts, # RP26005.

Yes, you can use the Reese Friction Sway control part #83660 without a weight distribution system. You would just need to use the tab part #RP26003 on the ball mount as well.
