Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2014 Honda Odyssey

Do I need a trans cooler with the use of a hitch mounted cargo rack 500lbs max? Regardless, what would you recommend for a cooler size and fit for the 23014 odyssey?

With the use of a cargo carrier a transmission cooler is not normally used, but a cooler will prolong the life of a transmission towing or not so it's a great idea for your 2014 Honda Odyssey.

We installed the Derale part # D13502 on a 2014 Honda Odyssey and it worked very well. Check out the install video that will walk you through the process. This would be a great choice for you.

A transmission cooler must be attached to the transmission fluid return line. They are designed to supplement the radiator or factory cooler, so you will want the fluid to go through the radiator first, then through the cooler. We have not had a…
