Adjustable Suspension on a 5th Wheel Trailer to Get More Height to Tow Trailer Level

Question:

I bought a newer truck and its higher than my last truck now my camper is not level, I can not lower hitch as I am only 6 inches from bed rail at rear of bed I see dexter has over under kits, I just want to make sure this is a safe option also my camper has different holes in shackles were leaf springs are mounted is this a safer option and what kind of height would I get out of just doing this. I attached a picture thank you for your help

I can't confirm that an over/under kit would work for you because of the unique hangers on the trailer. Though it does look like it was designed to be adjustable. It also would appear that the amount of height you would gain would be approximately equal to the center to center distance from one mounting hole to the next.

This would appear to be a great option for you provided all the hanger locations have additional mounting holes like in your picture. You may also need some addition components such as longer u-bolts but you would only know what else would be needed after starting the process.
