Your towing capacity can change when pulling a fifth wheel or a gooseneck trailer. To determine how much you can tow, you'll need to do some math. Look on the sticker that's affixed to the driver's side door frame and find the GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating) which represents the maximum allowable tow rating in terms of the combined vehicle and trailer weight. To find out the max weight of trailer you can tow, you'd subtract the GVW (fully loaded weight of vehicle) from the GCWR. The result represents the maximum weight of the trailer you can tow.

The B&W # BWGNRK1251 gooseneck hitch you referred to would work great for you. If you don't already have a 7-way trailer connector installed in your truck bed, you can install one using part # 20023.
