I have the winch mounted on a detachable hitch that I have on my 18’ trailer. Pin in on when I need it. We buy , sell and show antique tractors. Some of the tractors we buy aren’t running so we just winch them on the trailer.
This winch has excellent power and torque and we can skid any tractor on the trailer even if the rear wheels are locked or if it has been sitting in the weeds for years.
Great buy for the money. Shipping was very fast.

Very satisfied with the service and, support. I originally set out to order the TS 9500 winch. Etrailer tried to help out by offering an upgrade to 13500 for less than the price of the 9500. Only problem there was a space issue when I mounted it behind my new bumper so, I had to return it and, settle for the smaller version. They made the return and replacement as painless as possible. The 9500 winch has been working without any issues since I purchased it a year ago. Thanks etrailer!

by:

Excellent product, pulls my 3500lbs. car into my enclosed trailer with no problems.

Nothing but praise for this winch. Pulled a lot of logs thru mud and rocky terrain with no issues. Good investment on a quality product .

Got the winch mounted up and it looks great and works great and etrailer is a great place to do business. The only thing about the winch is the fact that it comes with some type of devise that hooks to the positive side of the battery. There is nothing in the printed instructions that tells you what this is. As an afterthought they threw in a picture that shows where this goes. Just to be sure I got this right, I went to youtube and found out exactly how this works. I don't know of any other winch that has this, certainly not the Warn I had, and it shows they wrapped this with electrical tape??? Still, no information. You must need this part or they wouldn't have threw it in, but still don't get it. Makes for an ugly installation on the battery though..........

Winch works great, plenty of pull power. My only complaint is that the control quit working after the second use. But I got a replacement from the manufacturer. Very satisfied with this product.

Winch works great, no problems.

by:

very happy with this winch, I made a mount that was universal to my truck receiver and on my car trailer . Have not been stuck bad yet , but have used it many times to pull dead cars and trucks onto the trailer and it had no trouble pulling a full size 3/4 4x4 with 3 wheels not rolling onto my trailer . I would buy another one.

by:

Nice winch. Plenty of power. Remote control button sticks though making it a bit dangerous. My winch is mounted to trailer making it dangerous if you let off in/out button and it continues to winch in one direction or another.

by:

This is the second winch that I bought. The first winch had the return button go bad on the remote and was able to borrow one that worked. After the third year the motor burned out and I purchased another one. After one year the return button on the remote failed the same as last time. The winch is still running with the borrowed switch
I use the winch to pull 3,000 lb logs onto a log trailer. When it worked it did a good job

GREAT SERVICE!!!

Super fast delivery,
exactly what I wanted and for the best price I could find.

by:

Great winch. It gets used EVERY DAY and never misses a beat. This is my second superwinch and the last one lasted three years, used every day, for an average of more than TWO THOUSAND PULLS a year! You'd better believe my next winch will be another one just like the first two!

by:

Seems like a nice sturdy winch. Very fast service from etrailer just like always. Highly recommend them to anyone.

My order arrived one day early and was perfect. I would recomend etrailer 100% will be putting it on my jeep in the net few weeks. Danny did a great job of putting my package together. I have everything I now need to go off road. Great Job Thanks

by:

Very nice Winch and at a great price from this site. I have it mounted on the front of my Jeep CJ7 and have needed to use it twice in the last year and both times it worked perfectly and got me or somebody else out of a tight spot. I gave it 5 stars!

  • What is the Diameter of the Synthetic Rope in the Superwinch Tigershark Winch 9500 SR
The Superwinch electric winch # SW1595201 actually uses a synthetic rope that is 3/8 inches in diameter (0.375 inches). The model that uses a wire rope, # SW1595200, has a 21/64 inch wire rope (0.328 inches).

  • Trailer Winch Recommendations for Pulling a 2500 Pound Tractor on to a Trailer
The Hand winch you selected, Dutton-Lainson Brake Winch # DL15721, would be a great choice as long as your 2,500 lb tractor will always be a rolling load, and the angle of the ramps on the trailer will not be too steep. This winch can use the 20 foot strap, # DL24251, or the 25 foot cable, # DL24102. If you need to move the tractor when not rolling, flat tire or some other mishap, I recommend using a winch with at least 5,000 lb capacity. A winch like this is only available in an electric...

  • Option for Mounting Winch in Toy Hauler Cargo Area Floor
What a lot of people do to mount a winch like the Superwinch Tiger Shark Series # SW1595200 to the floor of a trailer is use a hitch mount like the part # C31010 and then fabricate a hitch opening to the floor of the trailer like the # E-11 welded to the frame or a crossmember of it. You'd have to cut a hole in the floor to accomplish this. The hitch mount route allows the winch to easily be removed from the trailer if needed as well.

  • Should Winch on Car Hauler Mount to Floor or Railing of Winch
If the plan is to use the winch part # SW1595200 to pull vehicles onto the trailer you would want the winch mounted up on the railing of your trailer preferable so that the cable doesn't drag over the end of the trailer. The roller fairlead normally mounts to the end of a winch mounting plate like the part # C31010. It does not mount directly to the winch.

  • Electric Trailer Winch to Pull Cars and Trucks Onto a Trailer
Electric winches can draw a lot of power so it would be best if they had a dedicated power source. There are several ways to wire up a trailer and I have included a how-to article for you to review to determine which method is best for you. Since you want to pull cars/trucks onto your trailer, the rolling load actually helps to increase he capacity of the winch. Take a look at the other link provided on choosing an electric winch. • Difference Between the Superwinch LP10000 and the Tiger Shark Series Winches
While we don't carry the Superwinch LP10000 winch we do know that it is an intermediate level winch with a lot of great features whereas the Tiger Shark Series like the part # SW1595200 that you referenced is more of an entry level winch. Just comparing the specs between the two winches I was surprised to see that the Tiger Shark does have a higher horsepower motor as well as the higher gear ratio meaning that it would reel the wire in a little bit faster. It does have a slightly lower...

  • Electric Winch Mounting Recommendations for a Flat Bed Trailer
For trailer mounting winches like the # SW1595200 that you referenced you will want to mount it directly to the trailer frame with bolts that go through the mounting plate provided on the winch. You would not be able to mount a winch to a wood bed if you are going to put any kind of load on it. You would need to get the winch mounted to the steel frame somehow. To do this you can use U bolts to attach through the wood bed to the trailer frame, if there is steel frame below the bed. Otherwise...
