Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Lippert Venture RV slide-out actuator with a 40 inch stroke length. Now this part here will replace the actuator that's on your Lippert Components electric through-frame slide-out. This actuator's designed to work with the Tuson motors. Now the motor is not included. When you do have the motor, the motor install in on this end and on the other end, right here, this'll connect to your inner arm assembly.
And then basically when that motor is actuated this actuator will crank this gear to extend the inner arm assembly out of your slide-out. You can see how this cranks and extends out. Now, this part is made in the USA. Few specs on this, the overall length, when this is fully extended out is 98 3/4 inches. When it's fully retracted is gonna be 59 inches.
And as we mention, when this is extended all the way out, when it cranks all the way out, the stroke length is about 40 inches. But that should do it for the review on this Lippert Venture RV slide-out actuator with the 40 inch stroke length..

It was a learning process on this issue I had with the slide. Ended up working out just fine and with help from your staff and others the slide has function without fault since installing a new actuator.

I purchased this actuator for my 2017 Coachmen Catalina. The trailer was out of warranty and the local service shop aren't very good so I decided to work on the trailer myself.
The new actuator looks like it is a universal fit for the Lippert 2" electric through frame slide. The motor end has multiple holes pre drilled for different motors but none of the holes were tapped. It was no big deal to drill out the proper hole a bit and tap it to fit the motor bolt from the old actuator but be aware you will need to do a little machine work before it's ready to go. It's heavy and took some work getting it in place. There are excellent installation instructions on the Lippert website which I would recommend reading before attempting the job.
