Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this hardwired mounting kit for the Hughes Autoformer's 50 amp voltage booster. Now this will let you securely mount your 50 amp Hughes voltage booster inside of your RV's electrical compartment. Now that voltage booster we do sell separately on our website. It's part number H-U-5-7-F-R.
This will help protect your voltage booster from the elements. It includes everything shown here on the table. The 5 foot long 50 amp cord with the male plug. And over here the 50 amp female receptacle for the service cord. Now the male cord is what'll wire into your transfer switch or your main breaker.
And the female receptacle wires to the loose wires of your short cable. These parts are made in the USA. Few specs on this again, the length on this cable is 5 foot. And the dimension on this box is gonna be 4 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. By 2 3/4 inches tall.

Perfect for what I needed, but after installing the cable into the bottom of the box I have not been able to screw the cap on the cable all the way...it goes so far and then slips.
