Battery-powered LED leveling device shows if your trailer or RV is level. For each red light that appears, raise the RV 1-1/2" on the side indicated to bring it level. Hinged, weatherproof level offers front-to-back and side-to-side leveling.

No Guesswork - Know How Much Height Is Needed to Level Your RV
Most levels only tell you when your RV or trailer is out of level, without offering any measurements to guide you. This means that you must repeatedly add or remove blocks until your RV is level. Driving your RV up and down the blocks is also time consuming and can wear down the blocks. The Hopkins Electronic LED Smart Level takes the guesswork out of leveling by telling you exactly how much you need to raise or lower your RV or trailer to get it level.
If your RV is out of level, a red bar will appear on either the left or right side of the display. Each red bar represents 1-1/2" of height that must be added to that side. Once your RV is level, the middle green light will illuminate.
For smaller leveling tasks, the Smart Level can also be configured to make each illuminated red bar equal 1" of height. Check the small red LED in the center of the device. When the small red LED is illuminated, each red bar represents 1" of height.
This level's display is hinged, so it can be used for both front-to-back and side-to-side leveling. When the level is folded in alongside the RV, it will measure front to back. Swing the level out so that the display is perpendicular to your RV, and it will measure side to side. The hinge also allows you to swing the level out 180 degrees so that it can be seen from the driver's seat using your rearview mirror.
Use with Hopkins Leveling Ramp Kit for the Easiest Leveling
This level is specifically designed to work with the Hopkins leveling ramp kit (HM08200 - sold separately) to make leveling your RV or trailer as simple as possible. Each red light that appears on the Smart Level means that 1 leveling block from the kit must be added on that side of your RV or trailer. No extra calculations or guesswork - simply read the display and add the blocks that you need.

This leveler is amazing!! For the price it gets our 5th wheel RV level very easily. I see the lights during the side to side leveling to save my wife a lot of running from inside to outside checking the level on the RV floor. Once side to side is complete, fold the leveler and then get the front/back levelling done well. This is a very simple cost effective leveler for any RV trailer that doesn't have the self leveling system.

You have to get it mounted perfect on both planes to get an accurate reading from it. Once there it's great. The door faces forward and flips open on the road. I removed it.

Fairly simple to use, install is fairly easy although they should include a reminder about mounting far enough away from other items on your rig as I mounted mine about 4" to the right of my landing gear control and did not realize it was too close until after I installed a screw. I did just cut off the finger tab on the left back side and then it was able to slide on and off, just wish I would have mounted it about 1 more inch over.

Still good, just dont push the buttons wrong and reset when the trailer isnt level or you screwed. Best part is visibility in the dark, which is when we tend to get to camp.

this thing is amazing. It has made backing into a camp spot so easy especially at night when you get in late. The lights let you know when you are level and you can just stop and set up. No more getting out and checking and trying again and again and again only to find you still are not level. If this one ever goes bad I will buy again and I have recommend this to all my friends

I have gotten in contact with the manufacturer and they have suggested that you can try calibrating the level. Start with the power on. Hold the power button until the yellow lights flash. Quickly release the power button and press it again. This should correct the leveling issue but will not help with battery life. As for the battery life, you may need to check the battery before installing it in the level.

There were delays in availability (as mentioned by others), and etrailer handled in a decent way. The product seems exactly as described...but...
I installed it yesterday. Had to attach it to window, since the trailer wall is not flat. Came home today (~1 hour drive), and found the unit MIA. The stickum was still present (attached to window), but the bracket that came with the factory-applied mounting tape had separated completely, departing at some point on the way home. :(
If you buy this unit, attach it using the provided screws, NOT the factory-provided mounting tape.

I ordered this item last year and was disappointed in the quality of the workmanship. It's all plastic and as a result, the little pins that hold the pieces in place break quite easily. Despite getting a replacement one (because the pins broke off the initial one in the first 5 minutes), I have yet to install it.
I might be tempted to buy another one if the new one's pins were made from metal or were somehow more robust.
Sadly disappointed in what should have been a very helpful tool!

Used proved adhesive to attach to my trailer. Fell off quickly. Have new one on order. When I tested it in the drive before leaving it offered me accurate information for leveling my trailer.

I received the LED level as promised although there was a delay from the manufacturer. I have not yet put it on my travel trailer but expect to this weekend. I have "played" with it and can see it will do exactly what I want it to do. I like that is detachable from the base when not needed.
I am very impressed with the customer service I received and the updates and phone calls when there was a delay from the supplier.

Works well, easy to see even in strong sun. When combined with the AM3604 Andersen Camper Wheel Chock and Levelers, leveling and chocking the camper is an one shot, easy process.

This works well on a laminated trailer but tends to be hard to keep level on a metal sided trailer. It really needs a flat surface to sit on.

Very handy for leveling my fiver on lots that uneven. Just lay out the boards or leveling rockers and watch in the mirror for the light to turn green while pulling up or backing onto the boards. Saves a lot of getting out to check.

I attached the leveler with the stickon provided but this was not secure enough to get a correct level reading. As this is a brand new trailer I am hesitant to drill into it to install a product I already find questionable.

Good concept. Poor quality. Fell off first day. Not where I stuck it, but where the factory stuck the back to the device. The case is not sturdy enough to provide accurate measurements. Door opened while traveling down the road.

Are you measuring for level with the # HM08201 LED smart level with the trailer hitched to the vehicle, or when it's up on the jack? The leveler is still working great. No battery change needed yet. It functioned correctly after the winter freeze, no issues on anything.
