Side to Side Level Installation Position on a 35 foot Camper Using the Hopkins Smart Level.
Question:
Should it be mounted about midway down because of flex

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Hopkins Electronic LED Smart Level for RVs and Trailers part # HM08201 was designed to be mounted closer to the front of the camper. At least as close as it takes to still be able to see it. The way it pivots allows you to watch it in your mirror as your pulling onto your leveling blocks.
While there will be a little flex since you are still connected to the truck for the majority of the leveling it doesn't effect it to a noticeable degree.
I've linked a video on it for you to check out.
