They're coated in a vinyl coating so that way they don't damage anything that they come into contact with like your tow bar or base plates, so you don't have to worry about them chipping or scratching your system or your gear.With this part number, you get two cables. They're made from a durable construction. We've got that braided construction there for strength and durability. On the ends, we have the steel safety latch mechanism.

Just what i needed
Product looks like advertised so, so far so good. Box was CRUSHED when it got here. Granted it would take a lot to damage the product but, did the shipper know what was in the box so didn’t care?

The extensions are a superior product. The spring lock is great. etrailer is a wonderful resource that I saved to my Favorites for quick access.
