203228 Dutton-Lainson Replacement Roller for Roller Bunks

Today, we're going to review part number DL203228. This is a Dutton Lainson Replacement Roller to be used on Dutton Lainson roller bunks. This part has a quantity of one and a few measurements on this replacement roller. It has a diameter of 2-1/4 inches and it has a width of 1-3/8 inches. The roller hole size in the middle is 9/16 and it will fit on a pin size of a half an inch. That should do it for part number DL203228..

Arrived in a timely manner. Correct pro duct.
As good as the originals, but, generally speaking, not as tough as 'solid' rollers. As one's boat rolls on and off these there may be points where weight is less than evenly distributed .. similarly as you are trailering, unless your boat is flat as a piece of plywood (hint: it is not), some rollers will not be in full contact with the hull, while others will be rolling freely.
All this is normal, but in practical terms what it means is that the rollers will not wear evenly and will oval a bit over time.
What I've done is mark the ones that are taking the brunt of the boat's weight with a piece of marking chalk while the boat is loaded-up and then when the boat is in the lake, replaced those rollers with fresh ones.
Overall I'm happy enough with these and dutton-lainson quality to buy them again.

These rollers look solid & sturdy. However, they are a little smaller diameter than the originals on my roller bunks - but they do work. Since these were the only replacements I could find - they will have to do!

I have been pleased and wish I had added this sooner. Works Great.
Thought I needed a new trailer. Then I moved some rollers around and found the trailer was fine. Decided to order more rollers to redo another row. The rollers were out of stock. Etrailer

The 5 ft. Roller bunks are great. We use them on a 16 ft duck boat at a mud flat where we unload and load it without hardly any water. Easy off easy on.
These black rubber rollers work good for approximately 1 season, but need to be replaced after that. They dry up and begin to crack/deteriorate after one season in salt water use.
Will send pictures of the damaged rollers on the bunks when I have the boat off the trailer in a week or so. Easy to install the bunks but the black does scuff the white hull. I would have bought upgraded rollers that hold up the extreme heat here in Louisiana and not scuff. The amber colored rollers on your website looks like they would be better if they were the same size.
After one year of regular use, these wheels tend to blow out and collapse, requiring that I regularly replace them. Frustrating.
Just what I needed at a great price. Better than the original rollers on my bunks. Thee order was shipped quickly and I received them within 5 days of ordering !
The roller were an exact fit and they saved my trailer. I would buy them again when needed.

These work well. I carry several spares so I can do repairs when I put the boat in the water.
I ordered this to have an extra just in case one broke, it is a very sturdy product and don't think I will need it any time soon.

After a year, still holding up nicely .. have been using the trailer to hold the boat most of the summer and launching it on seasonal weekends. Difference between this year and last year is now I have local parking and so the boat moves a lot less - that seems to have made a big difference in terms of wear and tear on the rollers. That and new leaf springs on the trailer. Launching in low water conditions on a launch that is shallow to begin with has been an absolute breeze with these rollers!
