Commonly used on vintage hot rods and race cars, Derale's pan coolers are designed to add a little extra cooling power to keep your vehicle's transmission operating at its best. Simple installation involves replacing the existing oil pan with the new Derale one, which, in addition to providing cooling power, also increases fluid capacity. The built-in turbulator tubes allow air to flow through, pulling the heat that has collected in the pan's surface and dissipating it into the surrounding environment.

1992 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup

I had a continuous slight leak on my transmission pan that would not go away. I finally went shopping on line and found you sight while being impressed with the design of your product I ordered one from you. I received it in the mail very quickly and installed it. The installation was easy and everything matched my transmission.
Filled the transmission with transmission fluid and after driving my motor home for a short while now have had no more leaks. Thank you for making a great product

2004 Chevy Express

product is great, however did not fit my 2004 express van....exhaust crossover was hitting the cover in the back. Would take about 100.00 in exhaust work to move the pipe out of the way. Will probably have to use an aluminum B&M with the offset step.

Wish I could have used it.

  • Transmission Pan Cooler For 2001 Chevy Suburban 8.1L
The Derale Oil Pan Cooler part # D14207 is only designed for the 4L80E, 4L85 and 4L80 transmissions in the 2001 Chevy Suburban. From my research the 8.1L either has an Allison automatic transmission or a 4L85 transmission. If your transmission is the 4L85 you can use part # D14207. If your transmission is the Allison, we do not carry a pan cooler for you unfortunately.

  • Derale Remote-Positioned Transmission Cooler for 2012 Chevrolet Suburban 5.3L 4WD
A supplementary transmission cooler is an excellent addition to almost any towing vehicle and we have options for your 2012 Chevrolet Suburban 5.3L. If you have the specific transmission model 4L80E in your Suburban you can use pan-style cooler # D14207 from Derale. The benefit of a bolt-on pan cooler is that you actually add fluid capacity to your transmission system. This item does not simply radiate away heat like # D13503; it both radiates heat away and cools additionally by letting...

First I recommend getting a Edge Gas Evolution CTS3 Performance Tuner # EP39YR for your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD. This will allow you to get more power to make towing easier on your Silverado and will also allow you to more accurately monitor temperatures on your engine and transmission. For your transmission I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13504. This is a large plate cooler which will help to lower transmission temperatures when towing....

Thank you for including the photo showing the 2-inch or so of clearance between your transmission fluid pan and the crossover exhaust in your motorhome. You do not need to worry about the proximity of the pipe to the pan. The cooling power of this pan-type cooler comes from two sources: the air circulation through its turbulator tubes AND the additional fluid capacity it adds to your system- a whopping 4-1/2 quarts of additional transmission fluid. You will still have plenty of air (air...

  • Recommended Transmission Fluid and Engine Oil Cooler for a 2013 Chevrolet Express Van 3500
I have exactly what you will need to keep both the engine oil and transmission fluid cool in your 2013 Chevrolet Express Van 3500 but a remote cooler will not be necessary. Instead, I recommend using the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler part # D15902. As long as you have at least 17" wide x 12-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep of space to mount the cooler behind your grille and in front of your radiator/condenser then it will work well for you. You can expect a drop in engine oil...

  • Will Pan Transmission Cooler 14207 Fit a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD with 6.0L and 4L80E Transmission
The Derale transmission cooler pan, # D14207, is designed to fit the 4L80E General Motors transmission. It is deeper by design because the added volume and turbulators add depth to the cooler. Since your 2006 GMC Sierra does have the 4L80E transmission this pan cooler will fit. You will need an additional 2-1/2 inches of clearance under the existing transmission pan to accommodate the additional depth of the new pan. The Derale transmission pan cooler, # D14207, is listed as a fit for the 2004 Chevy Silverado with the 6.0 liter engine as long as the truck also has the 4L80E transmission. It will not fit a different transmission. The cooler fits the same footprint as the factory pan, only it is deeper and has turbulators. The overall height is 4-1/6 inches. This should enable you to determine if there is any clearance issues. I have included some liks to FAQ articles on transmission coolers for you.

Your 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 likely has the 4L60-E transmission which is not compatible with Derale transmission cooler pan # D14207. That pan fits the 4L80-E transmission which was not an option on your truck. Even though there isn't a pan cooler for your truck you can still add a regular cooler. The most popular option for the 5.3 liter motor is # D13503. I also recommend fitting # D13035 to avoid having to cut and flare transmission lines.

The good news that Derale cooler # D14207 does indeed fit the GM 4L80E transmission so if that is for sure what is on the tranny now then the shape and mounting pattern will all match.
