Excellent product for adapting 5/16 transmission lines for adding a transmission cooler. Could not find any 5/16 adapters like this at any of the local auto parts stores or hardware stores. everything was either 3/8 or 1/4 and had the wrong threads.

  • Adapters For Transmission Cooler Lines On 2003 4.2 Inline 6 Chevy Trailblazer
For your 2003 4.2 I6 Chevy Trailblazer with 4L60 automatic transmission, I recommend the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM # D13035 to connect to your radiator and use a hose. For your other adapters, you will need to measure each line. We have compression fittings for most sizes. Based on other Chevy vehicles, you may need the Derale Transmission Line Compression Fitting Kit - 1/2" Line to 1/2" NPT Barb # D13033, the Derale Transmission Line Compression Fitting Kit -...

  • Recommended Compression Fittings For Dodge Durango 2011 Citadel 5.7L Transmission Cooler
The insta-dapt comes with all of the Derale kits. It is unfortunately not always a fit as it is a universal adapter. You have a couple options, you can flare the lines you have or I recommend using compression fittings. To ensure you choose the correct compression fitting for your vehicle, you will want to measure the diameter of your transmission lines. The most common size is 3/8 inches, but it would be safe to measure first. I have attached links to the compression fittings that we...

The towing capacity of your 1996 Toyota Tacoma will depend on if your truck has a V6 or a 4 cylinder and if it is a 4X4 or a 4X2. I have listed the towing capacities of the different options for the Toyota Tacoma below. 4X4 V6 - 8,300 lbs 4X4 4 Cyl. - 7,400 lbs 4X2 V6 - 8,300 lbs 4X2 4 Cyl. - 3,500 lbs You can verify the towing capacity of your truck by checking your owners manual or contacting a local Toyota dealer with your vehicle identification number. • Radiator Fan For 1998 Dodge Durango
Since fans are not vehicle specific, choosing a fan for your 1998 Dodge Durango will depend on a couple of things. For your 5.9 liter engine, the normal CFM requirement is between 3400 and 4500, so you will want to get the largest fan possible that meets your engine cooling requirement. You will want to make certain you have sufficient room to install the fan. I have linked you to our product page that has several fans, and also shows the dimensions for the fans. • Transmission Cooler Recommendations for a 2011 Toyota Corolla
Both the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, # D13611 and the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit , # D13501, would be a great choice for your 2011 Toyota Corolla. The general rule is that transmission fluid cannot be cooled too much, so using the largest cooler that will fit is a good idea, especially if towing. The only reason not to add the largest cooler possible, would be if you live in very cold climates where temperatures are below 0 degrees often...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica
A transmission cooler is always a good idea if you are towing. Overheating is one of the biggest causes for transmission failure because your transmission relies on the transmission fluid to stay cool. The added stress from towing a trailer on the engine and transmission will cause the transmission fluid to heat up more than normal. It is a good idea to get the largest transmission cooler possible because transmission fluid cannot be cooled too much, however, you will be limited by the...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation to Replace a Faulty Cooler in a 2006 Nissan Xterra
Aftermarket transmission coolers are typically marketed as supplemental coolers, not replacement coolers. If you are looking to replace your OEM transmission cooler due to a leaky or damaged cooler, then you will want to install the largest transmission cooler that will fit in the space available. The ideal place to install this cooler would be in front of the AC condenser or radiator to allow for adequate air flow. I would recommend looking at the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Cooler,...

What you can do to ensure that it fits a transmission cooler is cut the fitting off of your hose, measure your hose diameter, and then choose a compression fitting that matches the diameter of your hose. We have one for a 3/8" Line # D13032, a 5/16" Line # D13031, and a 1/2" Line # D13033. You can then filter through our...

  • Is a Transmission Cooler Required for a 1992 Dodge B250 V8 for Towing a 1500 lb Tent Trailer
Adding a transmission cooler is never a bad idea. Anytime you are towing a trailer, the engine and transmission have to work harder. Keeping your transmission fluid at a lower temperature will prolong the life of your transmission. One factor that you can look at to determine if a supplemental transmission cooler would be absolutely necessary is the towing capacity of your 1992 Dodge B250. If the weight of your tent trailer is near the towing capacity of your van, I would strongly recommend...

This transmission cooler has an efficient plate-fin design allowing you to use a smaller size transmission cooler without sacrificing performance.
