A transmission cooler is not a vehicle specific item. For best results, we recommend installing the transmission cooler directly behind the vehicle grille, directly in front of the radiator and A/C condenser. We recommend going with the largest cooler that will fit in the available space. If you have enough room to accommodate its 8-3/4x11 inch size, the # D13503 cooler would work very well for you. If your Sportage has 5/16 inch transmission lines, I'd also recommend using two of the # D13031 compression fittings to tap the cooler into the transmission return line. For 3/8 inch lines, use part # D13032.
I'll link you to some help articles about transmission cooler, as well as a link to a video showing a common installation.
