2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

This is my first hitch. I decided to go this route after finding out the dealership wanted over 1500 to install rails hitch and plug.
Install was not too aweful bad I did the install in about 4 hours of everything. I took my time so nothing would be screwed up. The install videos where awesome and very discriptive.

Products arrived in Alaska within a couple of days of making the order online. Easy to find the product needed on the website. Great installation instructions, both video and written. Perfect fit with no fuss.

2002 Dodge Ram Pickup

For as expected, 10'is a bit long for a short bed truck, just had to coil up the extra and the it up under the bed. Works well though and installation was easy, no cutting wires!

  • Recommended Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch Between Demco, Husky, Curt, and Reese
All four manufacturers, Demco, Husky, Curt, and Reese are great companies that have been in the 5th wheel towing business for a long time. I would have no problem recommending any of them for a towing setup. Since your 1999 Dodge Ram has a 6 foot bed you will need a sliding 5th wheel hitch to give you extra turning clearance for those tight turning situations. The best 5th wheel sliding hitch that we have to offer is from Demco. The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch enables you...

  • Industry Standard Rails for a 5th Wheel Hitch in a 1999 Dodge Ram Pickup
I have a solution for you, it sounds like you have the 5th wheel hitch and the actual rails the hitch attaches too but are needing the custom mounting hardware for your 1999 Dodge Ram Pickup. You are going to better off getting a new set of mounting hardware and rails because the mounting hardware needs to match your truck and the rails. For a set of Industry Standard Rails we have the B&W Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVR3200. This will provide...

  • Is B&W Turnoverball BWGNRK1394-5W For 1999 Dodge Ram Compatible With B&W Companion Slider 3405
Yes, the two are absolutely compatible! You do have the correct fit for the B&W Gooseneck as well as the Companion slider for your 1999 Dodge Ram, and the two will work together superbly; the two parts you need are the following: - Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1394-5W - B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider # BWRVK3400-5W While the title says "Custom Underbed Installation Kit" this is the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch,...

  • Gooseneck & 5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually Long Bed
We can offer you a choice of several under-bed gooseneck hitches for your 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 dually long bed. You can see all by clicking on the link provided. The one I recommend is the B&W kit # BWGNRK1394. An install video is provided. I suggest this for its outstanding USA-made build quality that is second to none, for its limited lifetime warranty and because this gooseneck allows you to instantly convert the truck to 5th wheel towing by simply dropping in B&W's Companion 5th wheel...

  • Replacement OEM Plug Adapter for 7-Way on 2010 Dodge Dakota Big Horn
The correct OEM replacement for the 7-way wiring harness on your 2010 Dodge Dakota is the # PK11933. If your 7-way was damaged when it melted you can replace both using the # HM40975-11933. There is no option that comes with a built in T that would allow you to run 5th wheel/gooseneck wiring. The only option would be to buy a complete wiring harness and add it in like the # C56001 you were looking at.

  • Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for an UnderBed Gooseneck Hitch on a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500
I would be happy to help you. The B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3500-5W is only compatible with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # BWGNRK1313. If your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 has a square gooseneck ball receiver in the bed then the B&W Companion will work with your truck. If your truck has a round receiver or one with threads then you will need to either replace that system or use a different 5th wheel hitch. The Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer...

The Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115 is large enough to tow a 11,200 lbs trailer regardless of the length. For your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 long bed I recommend the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Dodge Ram - Carbide Finish # C16420-204 which will fit your truck frame without any drilling. Your other option is to use the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit - Carbide Black Finish # C16200 which will require drilling...

  • Is there a 7-Way Extension that is 12 to 18 Inches Long
It will require a little hardwiring but you can use extension # PK11-934. One end plugs into the back of a standard US car connector 7-Way. The other end has blunt cut wires that will need to be spliced into the existing harness you have. Another option would be to cut the wiring harness somewhere and splice in additional wires using # DW04914-1 which is sold by the foot. I recommend 2 feet in case you need some slack so you would enter 2 in the quantity box. I recommend using heat shrink...

  • Will Pro Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch and Universal Install Kit Fit a 1998 Dodge Ram Long Bed
Yes, the Pro Series 5th wheel trailer hitch with universal installation kit, # PS30128, will fit your 1998 Dodge Ram long bed. I have included a link to the instructions for the universal kit and a video showing an example installation on a similar truck you can use as a guide, though the installation will not be exactly the same. I also recommend adding an in-bed 7-Way trailer connector, # C56001, to make hooking up easier. I have linked a video and the instructions for the wiring as well.

With your current gooseneck hitch, you can use the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # C16210 that SHOULD be compatible with your gooseneck hitch. Based on all I can research it looks like it will fit, but I can't confirm it because I cannot test it. Any brand of industry-standard 5th wheel hitch will fit into any brand of industry-standard base rails, but the frame brackets that secure the rails to the truck frame should not be mixed with base rails from another maker since there can be compatibility issues. So in other words, you will want to use brackets from the same maker as your base rails (again, the hitch brand does not matter here). The linked page shows you all 5th wheel hitch fits for your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 6-foot-bed...

The Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16265 referenced in your question is compatible with standard, above-bed base rails. If there are standard, above-bed base rails installed on both the 2005 and 2006 Dodge Ram 3500, then this hitch will technically fit either truck. However, since you mentioned that your truck has a shorter, 6 foot bed, it is instead recommended to use a sliding 5th-wheel hitch in order to provide proper clearance when making turns. For example, Curt A20 Sliding 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16541 features a 360-degree pivoting cushioned head. The Curt will make hitching easier (thanks to the 360-pivoting head) and deliver a smoother ride (thanks to the cushioning). • Troubleshooting Short to Battery Message with Prodigy P3 Controller When it Rains
Water is seeping into the new 7-way most likely and is causing a short between the 12 volt output circuit and the brake output circuit. The water is somehow getting introduced into the round connector behind the 7-way. It could also be at the 7-way at the rear of the vehicle too. I'd recommend taking the connector apart to allow it to dry and then using dielectric grease like part # 11755 which will prevent the water from getting back in.
