Hitch is very heavy duty which is nice. Think some more engineering could go into it so you don’t have to use the Allen to snug hitch to keep from rattling. I ended up purchasing the rubber inserts. Definitely recommend if towing heavy trailers.
I have been completely satisfied with this product. Very durable, solid beyond my expectations. Whether towing 1/2 ton or 6 tons I have no concerns that the trailer and load aren't safe and secure. Would purchase again but won't need to as this hitch was built to last.
First of all, ETRAILER is a great company in my opinion. Their selection, prices and customer service are all great.
This hitch is stout! I'm the type that I'd rather have more capability than what I may actually use. For what I will use this for, I'm 100% sure it will be way more than I'll ever need but I'm also confident that I would not have any issues using it regularly at it's maximum capability. The construction of it is top notch and I'd be willing to bet it can do more than what it's rated for.
I will definitely be ordering the 20K Pintle that works with this as well as a Curt 5th Wheel and Gooseneck. Thank you ETRAILER and thank you CURT for amazing service and and amazing product.
What is there to say about a perfect hitch like this one? Why haven't you got it yet would be it. I have a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 and it went low enough for any trailer I pulled. Performed perfectly at pulling any trailer, of any size, of any weight. Still use it today (2023) It does have a locking bolt if you don't like hitch ball rattle. But you don't have to use it and it works fine without it. The hitch rattle doesn't bother me. I guess the only thing I would have liked is if it had come with another drop hitch with 1 7/8 ball on one side. And maybe a hook or a hole for a clevis on the other side.
Super strong, not much noise. Have it on a ram 2500 on 35” tire with stock suspension and it goes low enough for my 4x8 trailer and tall enough for my dump trailer and flatbed
Great product. I bought one for myself a year ago and ordered this one for a coworker.
Just what I needed for the Ram 2500, so I can pull smaller trailers and keep them level.
Very well built. I've had it for one year and it's exactly what I needed. Heavy duty towing capabilities, adjustable and two ball sizes. What more could you ask for?

After one year it has held up fantastically. Very little to no rust showing. It has been very durable through the heavy snow and salt life after a winter season. I still would recommend this to anyone.
Overall quality looks good . Powder coating is less than adequate 1 day in the rain it has rust on it

Very strong and durable hitch. Elevation and dropping is very convenient.
2 big issues with his hitch.
1) does not have an option to buy a 1 7/8 ball.
2) even with a pin lock on the hitch, the balls can still be stolen with its design. If the balls are stolen they can not be easily replaced or cheaply.
Overall, does the job, but once it is stolen, I’ll be buying something better theft protection.

As with any ball mount, it is recommended to remove it from the vehicle when it is not being used. This will protect it against theft and corrosion. Some States actually mandate that a ball mount be removed when not towing. If removing the ball mount is not feasible, a hitch lock # e98881 can be used in place of one of the pins that hold the ball in place.

Hitch hasn’t been stolen. Easy hook up. Pulls 12k with ease. Rust build up is a little disappointing, but still have plenty of life in it. Hitch has saved my bumper from damage several times.
The hitch arrived quickly and as expected. Normally a hitch that weighs as much as this one (37.5lbs shipped) is hard to order online due to the weight of the item but etrailer really made it easy. The interaction with the folks from etrailer was perfect. They were detailed in their email and made every effort to make this a personal experience.
The product is everything they said it was and more, the adjustment capabilities are great along with the ability to extend the receiver. I plan to pull a 26 foot car trailer at about 12,000 pounds loaded. The service and concern as always was excellent. I highly recommend this product and certainly etrailer.

Had the hitch a year and still love it. When not in use I remove the hitch from receiver and store it away for fear of theft.
This is the quickest and easiest ball mount I have ever seen or used. Just by pulling 2 pins you can easily adjust the ball height and size in seconds. Very pleased with Curt product. Etrailer.com has great products and great service.
Strong as on ox. Love it. Very easy to adjust and flip. The real deal!

This dude is the beast! Strong as an ox. Tremendous vertical range by flipping vertically. Appreciate rubber bushings on back of the 2 ball mount that absorb shock against the gusset. I tow 3 types trailers all different heights. Adjusts quick n easy. Love it.
The shank has a lot of play , up down .. side to side
Slops around while towing
When you brake the ball will shift up and down causing it to be uncomfortable

I do have a solution for you. I recommend adding an anti-rattle device such as part # BX88312 to help take out movement in the hitch receiver.
Very well made and heavy duty.
Heavy, simple, solid. The clever anti-rattle feature is nice too; Great ball mount!

No problems at all.
This is a heavy duty hitch set up. I have only used it a few times but I know what ever I hook up to. it will get the job done. I have towed a full size suv and a large heavy duty trailer with no problems. This hitch should give a life time of service and then some. If your looking for a heavy duty hitch set up. This is the one you want. Only thing negative is it needs to be able to accommodate a1 7/8” ball. Other than that it’s perfect.

Still looks good and no issues. Does what it was made for. You won’t go wrong with this hitch.
Very pleased with the product quality. The hitch must have been updated since the video and still images were taken. The manual “anti-rattle” design is gone. Replaced by a rubber plug, which I can only assume will work just as well (?). Shipping time was minimal, etrailer has always delivered well.

I have had this hitch for a year and it has towed trailers all over the northeast. It is still in great shape and works great.
