Multiple hooks and stretchable cords make this cargo net easy to use, even on roof-mounted cargo carriers.

Bought for cargo inside a Ram ProMaster. Sizing for this van is not ideal. Also too many hooks to wrestle. Hooks are overly thick and not always easy to use. That said, it has been helpful on a couple of cross country trips with loose bulk cargo stored in rear portion of van. Guessing this net sizing would work well in small pick ups or SUVs. Hooks should be thinner to fit more anchor point options.

by:

Very easy to use. Impressive stretching qualities and the amount of anchoring hooks is very sufficient. Used this net while traveling to the beach; nothing moved on the cargo rack. Excellent product.

by:

FAST SERVICE, GREAT TECHNICAL HELP WITH HOW TO DO IT YOURSELF VIDEOS AND FOLLOW UP ON PURCHASES. I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS AND WILL BUY FROM AGAIN. A+++++

by:

Seems to be perfect size for my Reese cargo carrier. I purchased some ratcheting straps just for added security if I hit an unexpected bump.

Ordered 2017 Honda CR-V hitch wiring kit and cargo net. The packaging, shipment and customer service were exemplary! Especially the customer service. Emily and Katie were patient and very helpful in walking me through some clarifications I asked about during installation. Once armed with this information the install went off w/o a "hitch" ;-)
Thanks eTrailer, this looks great and I expect many years of great service from this product.

Thank you. I do not believe I have ever been contacted like this before. You were so kind and helpful when I was experiencing difficulty with my 2017 CRV installation, which was in the end all my fault. To answer the question, all the products have functioned perfectly since installation.Admittedly this was more of a in case installation due to the limited towing capacity of the CRV. So there are very few opportunities Ive had to tow. You folks are my go to hitch place. Thanks again

We will not use this, will try to re-sell. It gets so tangled when trying to put it on and sometimes the hooks fall off of it. It was too large for our cargo and we had to hook it all the way around to the bottom bars of the cargo carrier, and the hooks were not ideal shape for hooking onto the bars. We would rather use bungee cords that we have. The fist product we have not liked from etrailer though!

by:

Works well for certain items, other strapping or bungee cords better suited to securing certain items

by:

For the price, it does the job. As with any cargo net, it gets in an annoying tangled mess every time you store it, no way around that. The hooks easily come off so be mindful of that when disconnecting from your carrier. I've found it works fine as an insurance plan for our camping cargo, which is already secured using cam tie-downs, and the cargo net adds the peace of mind that nothing is falling off the carrier.

by:

Ordered a cargo carrier to connect toy trailer hitch n a net to secure cargo on it. Ordered 19 Aug n received it 27 Aug. Easy to put together n fit in my hitch. Used it the weekend of 28th. Worked perfect!!!
Thanks etrailer!! Will be ordering more stuff from you.

by:

This cargo net is very high quality and has many hooks for good coverage

Still awesome

This is my first experience with Curt products. Bought this and the cargo basket carrier. It is very well made product. Had the chance to test it out today with a few items in the carrier and it work beautifully. Held everything down securely.

This was also my first experience with the folks at etrailer.com. It was a pleasure! within 2 hrs of placing my order I received and email letting me know it was shipped. The package actually cam e a day sooner they they said. Then received a follow up when it was delivered asking if everything was OK. Top notch customer service!

by:

I use it with the cargo carrier that I bought and reviewed earlier.
Works as designed. No issues to date.
Hint: When you're ready to remove it from your load, release all hooks and then pick up the net from the center of the net. That way all the hooks are down. Hang it in the garage in that configuration. That way you won't need to untangle it before use. FYI.
Good product. Would purchase again.

by:

The quality of the cargo net is great. Size is great for the cargo basket. Problem tho with the net is the hooks. They are cheap plastic and I already broke one off. The end of the hook is also large and does not fit into the cargo basket holes. This is how I broke one of the hooks - trying to force the hook into the hole. I will use the net with bungee cords to hold it but this is a nuisance.

by:

Have used it twice for trips to the beach to help hold stuff down on the cargo carrier. Worked very well. Secured nicely to my carrier.

by:

Perfectly fits our Curt 20x60 cargo carrier. Love that it keeps our camping cargo secure and discreet. A must buy if you own a cargo carrier.

by:

Easily adjustable for the hitch mounted cargo carrier. Folds small enough to keep in the vehicle.

by:

Purchased with a Cargo Carrier and anti rattle hitch as a gift. Looks great, hope Birthday boy thinks so too.

by:

I love having a cargo net in the trunk of my car. This one is large enough, can be doubled over to contain smaller items and the "make it fit" adjustable hooks are the best!

by:

The net worked great! I really liked the finger holes in the ends of the hooks. This allowed me to pull the strap on the anchor point without smashing my finger. One thing that I did notice is that the hooks fell off the net a couple times. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though. This allowed me to reposition the hooks if I needed to. Overall great product.

by:

Well built cargo net. Fits my 24" X 48" hitch carrier nicely.

by:

I have used a spider web in the past so I am sure this one will work. The one in the past covered an eight foot pickup truck bed.

by:

Great to hold multisize objects against trailer wall!

by:

Very well made...I like that each hook has a hole in it for tie down assist

by:

Does not provide enough security for long hauls!

by:

The open clips make this net difficult to use. It clips onto itself which makes it hard to spread out.

  • Recommended Hitch Mounted Carrier for Waste Tote Tank on R-Pod Camper
We do have a really nice selection of hitch-mounted cargo carriers that could work well for your application, but it's just going to depend the size of your tote as to which one will be best. I really like the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18113 because of its aluminum construction that keeps its weight down (just 25 pounds) and resists corrosion, along with its built-in reflectors for visibility and raised side rails that will keep your tote in place. You can add a cargo net like the Curt # C18202...

  • Will Curt Cargo Carrier Work on 2019 Lexus GX 460
Yes, you can absolutely use the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18151 with your 2019 Lexus GX 460 so long as it has a 2 inch trailer hitch, the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13043 or Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75685, both of which fit your '19 GX 460. The only thing you will need is Pin and Clip # PC3 or Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880 to secure the cargo carrier to your hitch. If you need to keep your cargo nice and dry while you are transporting it on the carrier I strongly recommend the Curt Cargo...

  • Curt Class III and Class IV Hitch Comparison for 2018 Ford Transit T350 Passenger Van
You are correct that we offer both Class III and Class IV 2-inch hitches for your 2018 Ford Transit T350 passenger van. If trailer towing were your intended application then the Class IV hitch # C14012 would definitely be my top recommendation since it can tow 2000-lbs more weight than the Class III model # C13193. But since your intended use is with a hitch-mount cargo carrier like # C18151 I recommend instead that you go with their Class III hitch # C13193 since it has a higher tongue...

  • Straps or Tie Down Recommendations for Curt Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier
For tie downs on Curt cargo carrier # C18151 you can't go wrong with the versatility of bungee cords, # EM06623. This set comes with 12 bungees. You can never have too many bungees. Another useful tie down method is to use a cargo net such as # C18202. But it really depends on the cargo on the carrier. For something more rigid I would go with a couple of retractable ratchet straps # 34414.

  • Does Curt Hitch Carrier # C18100 Come with Pins
The Curt cargo carrier # C18100 comes with the pin that holds the hinge assembly up or down but does not come with a hitch pin to hold the carrier to the hitch so you would need that like with the # 63232 which is an anti-rattle hitch pin lock setup. Then for a cargo net that will hold cargo to the carrier the part # C18202 would be a great option.

The Lets Go Aero Cargo Carrier part # H01380 that you referenced does come with threaded anti-rattle hitch pins so you would not be able to reuse the hitch lock you have now. But to convert the hitch pins to a locking setup you'd need the part # ACC3250. The Curt stretchable cargo net part # C18202 would be a really great option for securing the cargo you mentioned to the carrier.

I have two options that will allow for you to securely attach a cooler to your Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18151. You can choose from either a cargo net or a set of cambuckle ratchet straps. A cargo net such as the Curt Stretchable Cargo Net part # C18202 will allow for you to secure a much larger variety of items under the net in comparison to a cambuckle system. I tried out the Curt Stretchable Cargo Net, 43 x 24, part # C18202 on a few different grills and baskets and the largest fit I got was on the 52 inch long X 15 inch wide Hollywood Racks Hitch Cargo Carrier. It fit around the smaller supporting posts of that basket and covered the entire length. I'd recommend the 43 x 24 if you're looking at smaller cargo on your grill, as it was stretching pretty thin on the 52 inch carrier, and didn't leave much room for cargo height. That being said,...

I recommend using 7" Long White/ 11" Long Red Conspicuity Reflective Tape # RE418T or Optronics Trailer Reflector # RE10RB, which will easily stick on the carrier's sides. I have a solution for you. Since we don't carry a folding cargo carrier for 1-1/4 inch hitches, the best route is to use a hitch adapter like the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver (Class II Only) # 80303 with a 2-inch folding option. However, it is important to note that using any kind of hitch adapter will decrease your maximum weight capacity on the hitch by 50%. The Rola Flat Strap Cargo Net 59200 will probably work for your 60 inch wide cargo carrier, but it may not be able to hold loads that extend past the cargo carrier side walls. This net measures 48 inches unstretched so 60 inches does not give the net much room to hold taller loads. Instead, I would recommend either the Curt Stretchable Cargo Net, # C18202.
