Mounted on 2009 Volvo C70. Should be good on all the P1 platforms with the retractable hardtop, model years 2006-2013. Instructions are wonderful. And yes it takes two people to get that fist bolt in. Maybe 5 minutes of two people positioning - less if you aren't doing it at night and can see what you are doing.
Our Yakima rack can be used just fine, but we do have to tip it back when putting the top up or down.
The car is dirty, and the hitch is In the shadows, but hopefully you can see it. Or hopefully you can't since its tucked under the car.
Suggestions 1) since this is a Volvo, metric equivalents might be useful i.e. 19mm = 3/4".
2) the instruction sheet mixes references to the threaded bolt size, vs head size, which were not referenced earlier. So it was confusing if you were talking about bolt head size or screw size on the "torque to x/ foot lbs" section.
The head she was professionally made installed in the car in 20 minutes I would highly recommend a trailer to anyone looking for a trailer hitch and accessories it was extremely hard to find a hitch for my car they had it in stock
Works fine on a 2008 C70. The only issue is one of the arms was bent a little bit in shipping (and arrived poking out of the box) but it was easy enough to bend it back so everything lined up.
A little slow for label to be made. But once shipped it was timely and the product fit well. Can't wait to tow my jetski to the boat launch with the convertible!!!
This was so easy to install on my Volvo C70 that the dealership didn't even charge to put it on my new car. Using it with the Thule Aero Helium 9042 rack, I can raise and lower the convertible top without removing rack or bike which is wonderful.

Easy installation having the guide and instruction video. Lifting the car on rack made it very easy--less than 20 min. Shipping packs can be better; all tore up and was concerned, at first, the hitch may be damaged.
The hitch quality looks great and it fit well and would have been easy to install except that my Volvo C70 had twin exhaust mounts on each side and the hitch wouldn't fit between the aft set. I had to heat and bend the mounts for the hitch to fit.
I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that it was an issue with my car and not the hitch. The diagram for the hitch installation showed only one mount on each side.
This is a very generic hitch for the Volvo, C70. The aft, stock hangers for the muffler interfere with the end mounts. I had to remove about an inch off the tangs to make it work. It's nice, but consider this might be a problem for laymen type installers. Just an FYI.

Worked perfectly and use it on the back of my 2010 Volvo C70 to haul my bicycle. Very helpful customer service and would recommend to all.
