Today we're going to review part number AM90086. This is the Americana Baby Moon trailer wheel center cap. It's made of a chrome-plated steel. This Baby Moon style center cap will give your trailer wheel a unique retro appearance. It has a nice chrome plating, gives a nice tough of class and style to it. It's a sturdy steel construction, which will provide durability, and it's a simple snap-on installation.
I'm going to show you in a minute how this installs. Now this is for a quantity of 1 hubcap, and the application for this cap is it'll fit wheel size 13" diameter, 14" diameter, and 15" diameters, but it does have to be the 5-lug bolt pattern, and the conventional style trailer wheel. I'm going to show you that wheel in a minute here. I just want to give you a few dimensions first. Overall diameter, outside diameter, is 9-5/8".
The inside diameter, which is the more critical measurement, is 9-1/4". So now I'm going to show you, I happened to pull a 13" 5-lug conventional steel wheel, you can see. The conventional design is the one that looks like a passenger car wheel. It has the ring on here with the nubs, and the nubs on that wheel is what will hold that Baby Moon hubcap on. So if you'll notice, what you want to do is just, there's 3 hubs on this wheel. So you just set it over two of them, and then the top one you can see it's above it.
All you have to do is just apply pressure right there. When you do that you can hear it'll pop and snap right into place, and it gives you a nice, retro-looking wheel, nice clean appearance. Then to remove it, it's a little tricky. You don't want to damage your hubcap. A nice thing that works is a lot of places you'll see have a hubcap puller. It has a little hook on it.
That's perfect because it'll go right up under this, and you can just pop it off. In this case, what I'm going to use is put a little rag on there to protect the wheel and the hubcap, and then just put the claw of a hammer on there. Basically if you just pull up on that, you can see once you do that it'll pop the hubcap right off and there's no damage. Just make sure to use a rag or material to protect it for the wheel and the hubcap. So very simple installation. But that should do it for the review of part number A90086, the Americana Baby Moon trailer wheel center cap in the chrome-plated steel. .

They fit our Gulf Stream Coach Vintage ERD19 wheels as well or better that original baby moon hub caps. I installed them a few minutes ago and am pleased to have the dented rusty ones replaced. Fit my 14" wheels perfectly, but, they are flexible and dent easily, chrome has not held up well after 1 year (we live near the coast) and delivery was behind schedule.
Bought a set of 4 for our Vintage Cruiser travel trailer to replace 2 that were lost on our first trip. These have stayed on for over 3000 miles. Finish has remained as well. Very happy with this purchase.

I lost 2 of the original hub caps the first trip out. These replacements have been on over a year with many miles and remain tight.

Trailer moons are still bright and shiny a year’s use later.
These are great hubcaps and fit exactly as described. They have a very nice shine to them and they really make my retro trailer look apart.
My center caps look great - thanks to the folks at etrailer for helping me get them delivered to Canada - when USPS was unable to get it to me, the good folks at etrailer helped get them to me quick!
I bought these along with the Kenda Karrier black wheels. These fit so well! They stay on, but will not be too hard to remove without damage. I love the look it gives my trailer! They are quality, and very pretty.
Had to replace one on my travel trailer. Popped off somewhere. I noticed the radius is a hair different than the original one but you can’t see both sides at the same time anyway. No big deal. Chrome looks good. If you see a baby moon on the side of the road somewhere, pick it up please. It’s mine.

Honestly, I am only buying these to replace the exact purchase two years ago - pleasing my wife so that she doesn't have rusty, pitted hubcaps on her trailer. If I could find affordable chromed stainless steel baby moons that fit my wheels I would buy them instead of these. For now I will just replace these when they look like the ones I am replacing. Photos are of the OLD ones I'm replacing.. which is the exact same ones I am reviewing today. I will also include a picture of the NEW hubcaps.

Been a year and hubcaps still look like new do keep them clean with wd 40 and store in camper while in storage

Seem to me the hubcap is a better fit than my original hubcap when I purchased my trailer. Have had loss both hubcaps,and so far they are not flying off when pulling.
After reading reviews before buying hubcaps I saw there were premature ( less than 6 months ) rust from many buyers. they come with a few very small rust spots showing thru the chrome. I still ordered the hubcaps and upon receiving them I immediately sprayed them inside and outside with clear paint. This has kept them shiny.
The product I received was Great but one of the items was damaged when i received it. So then I called and spoke to Kathy B. and with out hesitation she helped me and had another part shipped immediately. I just received an email from George J who was also very helpful through my purchasing process he answered any questions I had about shipping and payment. The parts showed up on the date provided from shipping! All in all Great experience I will purchase more from this compay in the future! Thank you for the baby moons!

The baby moons really make my boat trailer pop. I get compliments on it just about every time I go fishing. I did have to make a small adjustment to them for my rims. They were a little loose. I basically used a piece of leather and a pair of pliers and gently opened the rolled lip a bit. Fits snug now and wont pop off.
Perfect center cap to dress up the stamped steel rim of my motorcycle sidecar.
I have a 2019 Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser 19 RBS. It came with the vintage look Kenda white wall tires on 14 in rims (also by Kenda) These fit perfectly! In fact, they are the factory replacement! The originals on my trailer had no identifying marks on them, except for a sicker on the inside, 16700 Made in Taiwan. Well guess what these have? And, they are made by Kenda! So Vintage Cruiser fans, this is your part!

They are still in great shape. Our trailer is exposed only on one side I see no corrosion on the chrome. Our trailer is significantly protected, but we live 5 miles east of Mobile Bay and about 20 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico and we experience very humid weather and an almost perfect environment for corrosion.
