I would love to help but we don't have any fender clearance measurements on a 1964 Shasta Compact Trailer. Therefore, you will need to measure this for yourself. For starters, in order to switch to a 15" diameter trailer wheel you will need to make sure your trailer does not use a 4 on 4" bolt pattern as there are no 15" diameter trailer wheels we carry with this bolt pattern. If you don't know your bolt pattern you can use the attached help article to find this.

Assuming the above is true, the tire size we have that has the best chance of working on your trailer and mounts to a 15" diameter trailer wheel is the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire part # TTWTRTM2057515C which has a load range c rating (1,820 lbs per tire) and measures to be 27.13" diameter x 7.99" wide. In order for this tire to work with your trailer's fenders you will need at least 3" of clearance up/down and .5" of clearance side to side at a minimum. The easiest way to find out if the new size will work is to make a cardboard cutout, place it on the hub, and turn with the suspension pre-loaded.

If it turns out you do have clearance for this new size then I also recommend using the Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel part # AM20514 (5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern) with the Americana Baby Moon Trailer Wheel Center Cap part # AM90086 so you can retain the OEM design.
