Haven't used it much but the install was pretty easy and haven't had any issues with rust. Luckily my van already had the 7 pin connector installed and all I had to do was zip tie it to the hitch. Wish it had come with some kind of mounting system for the connector but not a deal breaker
Fits perfect on my 2022 2500 Mercedes sprinter van 170” high roof. Very easy to install. Took me roughly 40 min by myself. Very practical for towing. Call company for the exact one you need. They are nice folks and happy to help.
I can confirm that this will fit on a 2023 sprinter. It bolted up with no problems.

Quick delivery. Easy install on my 2022 Sprinter.
The product was easy for me to install on my Sprinter by myself in my driveway once I figured out how to prop up and balance it. It’s awkward to handle at first. The fit was perfect, and in use it works exactly like factory installed trailer hitches.
I used my motorcycle jack and a 2x4 the width of the hitch to make this a half hour install great fit.
All hardware was top quality great instructions
The hitch mounted with ease, by myself on a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter passenger van with no rear step.
For bike rack people- I did run into the problem that the Kuat bike hitch rack I installed sat too close to the van and risked breaking the windows. I tried an 8" extension...lame. Still didn't have rear door use. So Kuat makes a Pivot swing away that works with any 2" hitch rack and problem solved. Full use of doors, and plenty of clearance from windows with handlebars.

30 minute, one person, two floor jack installation. The trailer hitch we purchased fit perfectly inside the frame and bolted to the existing factory bolt holes.
SImply remove the factory shipping tie down bracket, line up the hitch, install all eight bolts as described in the instructions and its that simple.

It was super easy to install other than not having been gifted with 2 extra hands.

I was born with two left hands and I never thought I was able to actually do something with my hands. I only bought it because every place around was booked for the rest of the month and I didn’t wanted to wait 3 weeks to mount my bicycles to my new van.
Shipping was super fast, the box was all beaten up but I know it was probably UPS’s fault. The product was still in good shape and the hardware still attached to the unit (nothing missing).
Installation was straight forward, less than an hour.

Easy to install and fits nicely. I've towed a 2300 lb trailer 7000 miles with this hitch and had no problems.
Super easy install, took me less than one hour including the time needed to remove and reinstall my Luverne Step. The best part is that the hitch fits snug under the bumper allowing me to keep using my step. Both components utilize the same mounting holes and have the same diameter holes for the carriage bolts. Awesome service, fast delivery!
Does the job. When I received it, many areas of the hitch had a fair amount of rust, one area (connection tab) was bent and scratched. Too difficult to return so I just installed it. Install was easy.

I apologize for the damage to the hitch. It is important to cover any bare metal or file rust then cover with anti-corrosive paint. Here are more tips in this article:

hitch came wrapped in plastic with majority of plastic torn off and no cardboard supporting the outer corners leaving raw metal scuffed down below the paint. Hardward bag had a hole in it missing bolts and nuts to assemble the hitch on my Mercedes sprinter. Very disappointed in the packaging of the item.

I will try to take pictures on the next one I install, but these are as close to OEM as you can get. Make sure you order exactly to the specifications of your van and you will be very pleased with the outcome. Only took about 30 minutes to install. I only wish it had a step like the Mercedes one comes with. I think all users will be pleased, also I am happy to answer any questions for any Sprinter owners.

Hitch arrived promptly in good condition and fit as described on my 2016 Sprinter 2500. Second time I've ordered from eTrailer and they didn't disappoint once again.
Hitch would definitely be a ten if the paint wasn’t chipped and the instructions weren’t destroyed due to getting wet. What kind of finish is applied as I didn’t see any primer where the paint is chipped?
I will sand a, primer and paint the raw metal as I Don’t want it to rust.
It looks like a great hitch and possibly better packing and UPS keeping it out of the rain and putting a good size hole in the box would have been ideal.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. The hitches are coated in a black powder coat at the factory. I recommend touching up the affected places on the hitch with a rust resistant paint. This will help to prevent rust and also you will have it on hand for regular hitch maintenance.
