The procedure you described is exactly correct. That is exactly how the # 58098 trunnions are replaced.
You'll use a punch to drive out the roll pin holding the old trunnion on the spring bar, then remove the trunnion from the bar. Then, slide the replacement trunnion on the bar, making sure the holes for the roll pins line up. Then drive the new roll pins into place.
The roll pins are made of spring steel, so they will be a compression fit, you won't need to add anything to hold them... view full answer...
I went ahead and did some research on your F-150, and the owner's manual does not mention anything about interference of your factory CCD and a weight distribution hitch. Since the electronic CCD does not prevent trailer sway and only reduces sway once it begins, a weight distribution system with an anti-sway component will prevent it from ever happening. Also, a weight distribution system will provide you with overall better performance.
I noticed that you had mentioned the Equal-i-zer.... view full answer...
The controller for your unit should be mounted separately to the air distribution box. It's hard to tell from the pictures you sent but if the wiring diagram you sent is correct for your unit then it's also showing it as a separate part from the rooftop unit.
The controller should have a connector sticking out of it like I have pictured below. Since your picture of the old rooftop unit has a bare wires I'm assuming they cut the connector off and just hardwired it, which is ok but a bit... view full answer...
The Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Side Cameras # RVS-062710 comes with hardware to attach the cameras to the outside of the trailer. This would require drilling into the outer body of your Airstream. If you go with this system along with the quick tow # RVS-2133, I recommend putting a dab of silicone sealant # LT37464 at the holes so no water can get in. You would also presumably have to drill holes to run the wiring. The side cameras do have gaskets so you would not have to... view full answer...
Tank has propane but for sure it is turned on?
It sounds like the water heater is turned on so that's not it. Other things to check is that the fresh water supply and check that the water heater bypass line is shut. Otherwise it's defective and you'd need to check for error codes. view full answer...

You do need to adjust your Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System # RP66560 on your 2018 Airstream International Serenity travel trailer. The metal grooves that you are getting at the hitch side of your bars tells me that there is to much pitch in the head to your trailer brackets. This could be caused by the hitch height of the ball being to high or the frame brackets on your trailer being to low.
I have linked the installation instructions below that will help you through the... view full answer...
The nut on a hitch ball with a 1-1/4" diameter shank, like the B&W # BWHB94002, takes an 1-7/8" socket, like # ALL643216 (for use with a 3/4" drive socket wrench) for example.
Hitch balls with an 1-1/4" shank require 450 ft/lbs of torque. view full answer...
You could drill new holes in the mounting plate of the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000 to fit your spacing needs on your 2019 Airstream Flying Cloud Travel Trailer. If possible the best way to mount is to have it welded to the tongue of your trailer.
If you do drill new holes in the mounting plate I recommend spray painting the bare metal of the new holes to prevent rust and corrosion. view full answer...

Yes, when the pin on a breakaway system like the Hopkins Engager Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit part # 20099 is pulled that then sends full 12 volt power to the trailer brakes. When power is sent to an electric braking assembly you may very well hear sort of a humming noise and this is not uncommon at all nor it is an indication that a problem is present. view full answer...

To back the adjuster off, you'll need to use a small flat blade screwdriver or a similar tool to lift the clip that sits in the teeth of the adjuster wheel. With the clip lifted out of the way, you can use another screwdriver (a # W80630 adjuster spoon is easier to use).
You can also automatically adjust the brakes if you have a large empty parking lot nearby. Accelerate up to about 20 mph and apply the brakes firmly. You'll need to do this several times, as each time the brakes will adjust... view full answer...
