We almost always recommend using a proportional controller, especially if your new to brake controllers. They are easier to use and brake the trailer in sync with the vehicle. The proportional controllers detect how hard or how light you are braking and match that so the trailer brakes evenly with your vehicle.
One of our most popular and one of the easiest to use brake controllers is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, part # 90195. You will also need a 7-Way trailer connector to provide the needed... view full answer...

If your new trailer has electric brakes then you're going to need an electronic brake controller in your 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 because it's the easiest to install and use. It will need to be hardwired into the Blazer with the included pigtail harness. The black wire from the harness will go to 12 volt power, the white to ground, the red to the stop light switch near your brake pedal (This is the wire that will only have power when the brake... view full answer...

Our Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR will contain what you need to install the brake controller in your 2020 Chevrolet Blazer that came with the factory 7 way. You shouldn't require a circuit breaker # 331-CBK30-EB as this should all be included in the factory harness. The wiring is behind the side kickplate by the fuel pedal. Your Blazer being a new vehicle line doesn't have a lot of information available. But the good news is it shares the same chassis as the GMC Acadia that has been in... view full answer...
The vehicle-side trailer connector # 74682 that you referenced has a round U.S. Car connector intended to mate with a similar plug on Blazers that are equipped with a factory 7-way. If there is no mating U.S. Car plug on the Blazer you can still have a working 7-way by first installing a 4-pole harness # C55411 which splices into the wiring either on the driver's side frame rail or behind the bumper.

For your 2021 Chevrolet Blazer you're going to need to start with a base plate kit. Since there aren't any Blue Ox base plates I'd recommend going with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523204-5. These are just as good as Blue Ox bae plates and will work with a wide variety of tow bars like the etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates # e47ZR.
These tow bars have a beefy 6,000 lb capacity and will work great with those Roadmaster base plates mentioned above.

I would recommend one of the following two cargo nets.
Spidee Stretchable Cargo Net, # EM01018, which is 60 x 72 Inches un-stretched and would be good if you do not stack things too high.
