Parts Needed to Install a Curt Trailer Brake Controller on a 2003 Chevy Blazer

Brake controllers are not vehicle specific so you can use the Curt Venturer on your 2003 Chevy Blazer. There are a few things that you will need first though.

If your Blazer does not already have a 4-Way trailer connector then you will need to add one using # 18252. Then after the 4-Way is installed (or if the Blazer already has a 4-Way) you will need to install a 4- and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. The 4-Way plugs into the matching 4-Way on the ETBC7 and the remaining wires will get hardwired in: White is ground, black is 12 volt power, blue is output to the trailer brakes, purple is reverse lights.

I have included some links that explain the ETBC7 and brake controller installation for you. For the brake controller you will also need harness # C51515.
