Really good question, and you need to readjust your weight distribution system when installing Timbrens on your 2021 Toyota Tundra; the correct fit for those are the following:
- Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORTUN4
You'll need to readjust your hitch because the # TTORTUN4 will engage and help level your '21 Tundra when you have a trailer hooked up. Just the Timbrens alone though won't get you completely level or sway control, so using them with the TruTrack is really... view full answer...

I checked with the manufacturer, and the weight is 34 lbs for the Draw-Tite hitch that fits your 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser:
- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75461
I have added a link below to a video showing the install of this hitch on an '11 FJ Cruiser, and also wanted to mention that if you need a trailer wiring harness for your vehicle the correct fit is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118405. view full answer...
It's hard to see in the photos, but the crossbars provided by the Rola # 59799 Haul-Your-Might ladder racks are what I'd call a dark gray or gunmetal color with a black rubber strip running down the center. The remainder of the ladder rack is black in color. Rola doesn't offer a ladder rack with crossbars that are entirely black, but we do offer some alternatives that are available in all black:

That's a common question and the reason Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers # 3031-P has a ground wire on it is because some models of Tacoma and Tundra, such as your 2018 Toyota Tacoma, have an insufficient ground at the factory connection and this adapter remedies that potential issue.
While there are wireless options like the Curt Echo # C51180, I very strongly recommend going with the Prodigy P3 # 90195. The P3 is easy to use, levels automatically, has constant diagnostic... view full answer...
The warranty for the Curt # C12108 Class II trailer hitch stipulates that a stabilizing strap like # 18050 must be used for all non-trailer loads like bike racks, regardless of how many bikes are being carried. The strap would attach to the top of the rear hatch, but unfortunately the spoiler on the rear hatch would make the strap unsuitable for your vehicle. My fear is that the strap could damage the spoiler. Instead, I'd recommend the Curt Class II hitch, part # C12108. With this hitch... view full answer...
The Curt Rack Receiver # C92NR for your 2023 Toyota BZ4X can be used for any accessory with a 1-1/4" shank so long as the accessory and its contents don't weigh more than 200 lbs, as that is the tongue weight capacity of the hitch. That said, realistically, it'll be difficult to find a lift (with a 1-1/4" shank) and mobility scooter with such a low weight. But technically, yes, it is possible. view full answer...
Sometimes it's hard to find the wiring as they are sometimes taped up and out of the way. I've included a picture of the instructions to help you find the right spot. The connector should be on the back side of the vehicle harness. That's probably why you aren't seeing it. I've found that they are pretty neatly tucked behind the wires so it takes some looking to find it. When you do find it, you can use this adapter # C51455 for your brake controller. view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99FR on your Toyota Highlander is not compatible with weight distribution, but you can still add sway control. What you can do is add friction sway control, and you'll also need a bracket:
- Curt Friction Sway Control for Weight Distribution Systems # 17200
- Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts # RP26003
The # 17200 says "for weight distribution systems" but can also be used without them. It will attach to your trailer frame on one side, and... view full answer...
While BAK says it is possible to take their covers through a car wash as long as the cover is closed and secure, there are some important things to keep in mind that might help you to protect your investment while simultaneously enjoying the convenience of an automatic wash for your truck.
Car washes with spinning brushes should be avoided while the Tonneau cover is on. You don't want it to be damaged by the abrasions that might occur from a rolling brush that's simply too abrasive for... view full answer...
No, the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR or any other brake controller will not activate the brakes on the trailer in the event the radar cruise on your 2019 Toyota Tacoma activates to slow down your vehicle. Your owners manual for your Tacoma does state that the cruise control system should never be used when towing a trailer and this is one reason why. The brake controller will only activate the trailer brakes by either pressing the manual override or the physical... view full answer...

For you to retain the functions of the electric brakes on your car hauler trailer you will need to use a connector that will carry the power for all of the functions from the vehicle. For what you are doing you would be better off using a 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector # H20046 since it has all 7 circuits and the brake output circuit wire has 12 gauge wire.
I have attached a video that shows how to replace the 7-pole connector you can check out. view full answer...
In 4-pole flat type trailer wiring such as part # 002220 the tail light circuit (also known as the running light circuit) is usually assigned to the brown wire which connects to the pin next to the ground pin. You can see this in the photo I linked for you.
This type of wiring format does not support an additional circuit for +12V auxiliary power as might be needed to top off a trailer-mounted battery or to operate a jack or winch on the trailer. Other wiring formats with additional circuits... view full answer...
The shipping weight of the Swagman, part # S63400 is 34 lbs. Minus the box and packaging, the rack weighs right at 32 lbs.
If you'll be transporting women's bikes or bikes with sharply-angled top tubes, you might also consider a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, which provides a secondary attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes ground clearance. I'll link... view full answer...
Thank you for taking the time to share all of this. We did install this hitch # C34UR on a 2023 Corolla here at our shop in Missouri (my Moms car as a matter of fact), and this model did not have the underbody panel at all. So it seems that only certain models/trims even have this panel present. I will pass this on to my contact at Curt. Thanks again for sharing. Cheers! view full answer...
Absolutely, the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 is going to help keep your trailer tracking straight behind your 2019 Toyota Tacoma.
The sway bars on your Tacoma work to prevent excessive body roll and stabilize the vehicle while you are driving. Sway control on a trailer is different as the trailer can want to sway from left to right pivoting on the hitch ball, which can be very frightening. If you have never experienced it I hope you never do, I have linked a video below... view full answer...
It sounds like you have a 7-way connector on your trailer and a 4-way connector on your vehicle.
If you plug an adapter like part # 30717 into your vehicle 4-way, you will only have the 4 functions on the 7-way connector. You will need to make sure the pins on the 7-way are correct for the functions you need. If all you want is the lighting functions, you can cap off the wires that are not needed.
I have attached a helpful article that has a chart for wiring connectors. I also attached... view full answer...
