A parking brake system, also known as an e-brake, can only be used if the brake assemblies are already equipped with a parking brake. Dexter does offer electric brake assemblies with a parking brake, but their standard electric brakes assemblies cannot have a parking brake added to them if they were not already properly equipped.
You can tell if your brakes are equipped with a parking brake by looking at the backing plate. There will be an actuating lever at the top of the brake assembly... view full answer...
I pulled the Rack em Magnum Wheel Lock, # RA-25, and found that it measured 1 inch x 7/8 of an inch at its narrowest point at the end of the arms. It would be difficult for a thief to use bolt cutters to cut through the arms of this wheel lock and if they did manage to do so, cutting near the ends of the arms will most likely not be enough to actually remove the lock from the wheel. They would have to cut through a thicker section to remove the lock.
One thing to remember is that locks... view full answer...
I would normally recommend using an air bag suspension enhancement for your truck but since you said you are planning on towing a fifth wheel trailer the air suspension kits we offer are not compatible with a fifth wheel hitch and I recommend going with a system like the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part # TTORTUN4. This system not only increases your stability, it helps reduce sag as you described. Because they are independent of each other, they help stabilize your truck... view full answer...
If your 2009 Toyota Tundra came with the factory tow package, then it should have a 7-way round trailer connector attached to the bottom of the rear bumper to the left of the trailer hitch (see photo). I recommend looking at the back of your truck to see if you have the factory 7-way trailer connector.
If your truck does not have a 7-way trailer connector and you are sure your truck was equipped with the factory tow package, there should be two connectors under the vehicle near the frame... view full answer...

I have included the chart showing the horsepower and torque gains for MagnaFlow exhaust system # MF16864 for the 2006 Toyota Tundra that I got directly from Magnaflow. It is exactly the same between it and # MF15820. So you are looking at up to 9 additional horsepower and 10 feet-pounds of torque.
If it would me I would go with # MF16864 because rear exit dual exhaust is awesome. And it doesn't hurt that it costs a little less. view full answer...
Whether your 2008 Toyota Tundra has a 4.7L or 5.7L, you should hear a deep, throaty sound when accelerating, but it would not be obtrusive at speed. The sound will be more noticeable when accelerating or at high RPM, but it would not have a loud, drone-like sound similar to an exhaust system. view full answer...
I called my contact at CE Smith and asked them about the Post-Style Guide-Ons with LED Lights for Boat Trailers, part # CE27760.
They told me the lights are submersible and no worries there. The posts are PVC so that is not a problem either. The L-bracket that the PVC uprights are attached to are galvanized and over time they will be affected by salt water. Rinsing them off will help delay the effects of salt water. You can also paint them before installing that would help a lot. view full answer...
In order to find the correct pin box replacement for your 2004 Keystone Laredo fifth wheel trailer you will need to know which pin box model you have on your trailer.
Most king pins will have the pinbox number listed on a sticker or it will be stamped on the king pin itself. If you still cannot find it you will need to call the trailer manufacturer with the vin number so they can provide you with the pin box information.
I have attached a link that shows how you can measure your pin... view full answer...
Really good question, and you need to readjust your weight distribution system when installing Timbrens on your 2021 Toyota Tundra; the correct fit for those are the following:
- Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORTUN4
You'll need to readjust your hitch because the # TTORTUN4 will engage and help level your '21 Tundra when you have a trailer hooked up. Just the Timbrens alone though won't get you completely level or sway control, so using them with the TruTrack is really... view full answer...
While issues with these kits are highly uncommon, we do deal with air leaking on rare occasion. In most cases it will be leaking from a fitting and it is easily fixable once we have found the source of the leak. A soap test is the easiest most fool-proof way of finding the source. I could probably count on one hand the number of times I have heard of this over the last several years. If I recall correctly all but one was "user error" and we were able to address and fix the issue. Anything... view full answer...
I looked up the online version of the owner's manual for your 2014 Toyota Tundra and it looks like you can tow a 5th wheel trailer. On page 161 it says that the Tow Weight Rating (TWR), which is the highest trailer weight you can tow, found on or after page 162 must not be exceeded. If you check out your owner's manual you can look up your specific Tundra to know what exactly the weight rating is.
To use a 5th wheel hitch you will first need to install a base rail kit. I recommend the... view full answer...
The cargo management rails that our truck bed bike rack selection guide is referring to are side-rails that are installed on the inside of the truck bed frame rails. With these internal side rails installed you can add cross bars which will then give you two layers of cargo carrying ability. These rails are typically dealer installed and are not offered with all makes and models of trucks. I could not find where Toyota has these rails however this is an option on Ford trucks and Nissan... view full answer...

The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors, # KS70131-32T, will fold up against the truck but this must be done manually. These mirrors do not offer the power folding option like the factory mirrors on your 2011 Toyota Tundra.
If you do not want to lose the power folding feature of the factory mirrors I recommend going with a clip-on towing mirror instead. Take a look at the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, # CM11300. These mirrors will give you the expanded line of sight that you are looking... view full answer...
