What Is The Height Difference Of A Solera RV Awning When Retracted Or Extended

on the solera 17 ft power awning that extends 98inch how much lower is the extended height then the retracted height?

The head/roller tube of the Solera XL 12V Power RV Awning # LCV000334961-362243 should sit nearly in line with top of the wall mounting brackets when extended. The head/roller tube will sway in the wind a bit so it could potentially sit above or below this line by a few inches.
