Fast and exact replacement

by:

I sent an email to verify the correct trailer plug for my Sub and they responded in a timely manner. Made the purchase and it fit perfectly!

by:

Just what we were looking for! The 2007 Chevy truck needed a replacement connector and this did the job!

by:

I twisted this connector into the stock location and the locking tab that keeps it from twisting back out broke off. I locked it into place with a screw so it won’t twist out. Disappointed that it broke so easily .

by:

Haven't installed yet, but will soon.
Excellent
service.

2013 GMC Sierra

Broke my trailer electrical socket on my GMC pickup, I’m 1,500 miles from home waiting for the snow to start melting to go home. The local GM dealer wanted over $70.00 for replacement part. Found this one at etrailer.com for $16.95. I had it sent priority mail as mail has been slow here in AZ , received in six day and took less than five minutes to install. Hate to leave AZ , but home in SD is calling. We will be be back next winter. Thanks to etrailer for saveing me money I’ll need for gas home.

great to deal with and fast delivery

by:

This connector arrived fast and was very easy to install. Took about two minutes to put in. It seems to be of very good quality.

by:

Very easy...Installed in about 10 seconds. Product did not completely cover the holes through the bumper that existed from the factory harness insert. So you can see light a little bit of light around the product.

Fits perfectly and works as intended

2008 ChevroletSilverado

Perfect fit for my 2008 Silverado. Identical to the adapter used in my wife's 2007 Suburban, except hers says "GM" and mine says "Pollack." This is all assuming it works, I haven't hooked a trailer up to it yet.

by:

Works perfect just like GM specs....fast shipping

This looks like my GMC 2006 connector. What is the year of your truck. The spec says it is for 2007 and up.

I have a 07 Chevy Avalanche

by:

Looks to be good quality. Easy to install.

Remove
the old connector by depressing the keeper, turning it counter clock wise about a quarter turn, slide it out, depress the keeper on the wiring harness connector and unpluging the unit. Install the new connector by pluging in the wiring harness connector, sliding the unit through the bumper hole and turning it about a quarter turn clock wise to lock it in place. It took less time than writing this.

After a year, I still believe this product is well made of high quallity products. It is operating well as I expected it would. Thank you for building and selling this product.

2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Old electric plug in on my 2007 Chevy 2500 was worn out. Cord from RV would not stay plugged in. Went on line on E-Trailer, ordered a new part for GM vehicles, when it arrived, it took me about five minutes or lees to remove the plug all I needed was a small regular blade screwdriver. New part woks fine. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have ordered from E-Trailer. I have always been satisfied. Thank you Ken Hill

Fast shipping, superior product, I would definitely buy again!

by:
GMC

Fit no issues tight and quality. Spot on. 2011 gmc 2500hd fit right in the factory light plug in. Those that don’t have the 7 way connector already in it this adapts.

by:

Replaces plug with broken cover tab. Old plug matches photo. Correct model year replacement not exact duplicate but fits cutout and wire harness. Average price. Very fair shipping fee.

works well, no problems, fast delivery

by:

After 18 years, my original trailer plug connector was showing signs of corrosion. When I bought a travel trailer with electric brakes, I knew I could no longer trust my old connector. I purchased this replacement because it is identical to the OEM connector which I knew was excellent quality, not a cheap knock-off. It was simple to install and the wire connector plugged right in. I've been using it extensively for a year now and it's been working flawlessly. I'm glad I purchased this quality connector that I can trust.

by:
2007 GMC Sierra Classic

Exact fit and works great. I couldn't give it a 5 because it rotates slightly in the mount which doesn't seem to affect it's function, but the old factory part that it replaced didn't do that.

Chuck K.

Have had no problems with it.

This little marvel was a piece o' cake to install. Less than 10 minutes from taking it out of the box to installing in the bumper of my Chevy and wiping my hands on my pants. If my nosy and talkative neighbor wouldn't have been staring over my shoulder, it would have been installed in under 5 minutes.

  • Curt Class V Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4
The Curt Class V Hitch part # C15323 that you referenced has been confirmed by Curt to fit your 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4, crew cab, short bed truck. This hitch should work well for you. I attached installation instructions for you to check out. Most likely you have trailer wiring, but if yours is damaged you would want the Pollak 7-Way part # PK11916. I attached an install video for this product. For a ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip, I would recommend the etrailer Ball...

The Twist-in, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector # PK11916 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 so it would work well as a replacement. It will need to be mounted to the twist in 7-way port at the rear of your truck and then the connector for the 7-way behind the bumper will need to get plugged into it. I attached an install video that shows this as well.

You did not mention if your 2013 Chevy Silverado was a 1500, 2500, or 3500 so I can provide recommendations for all 3. For a 1500 I recommend Curt trailer hitch # 14301. There is no drilling or trimming required for installation of this hitch. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you. For a 2500 or 3500 series short bed I recommend B&W hitch # BWHDRH25601. Again there is no drilling or trimming required. The version for long bed models is # BWHDRH25600 and there is...

Good question, and a 2012 Cadillac Escalade does not have a harness that will allow you to plug in a brake controller, but it does have the wires already run under the dash, regardless of if you have the factory 7-way or not. Someone will need to sit in the cab of your 2004 Silverado 2500 and activate the lights, turn signals, brakes, and other functions while you test to determine the functions. The issue is that there is no standard for wire color and function in the automotive industry, so testing is the only way to be certain.
