If you have damaged the connector on your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, the replacement you will want is the Pollak Twist-in, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector, part # PK11916. I have attached links to a product review for this connector and also an installation of this connector on a 2013 silverado.
If you need to replace the wiring that attaches to the back of the harness on the rear of your truck, the Pigtail Wiring Harness, part # PK11998, is what you will need. It will hardwire to your truck wiring and attach to the back of the connector on the back of your truck. This would attach to the # PK11916. I have attached an installation video for this wiring harness.
I also recommend the Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, part # 11755, whenever you are connecting electrical components. This combats corrosion and is water resistant.
