Durable Acrylic Enamel Finish
This wheel has a durable acrylic enamel finish on the front. The finish is applied after the wheel goes through an environmentally safe zinc phosphate pre-treatment and is coated with an e-coat primer layer. Compared to powder coat finishes, this finish resists getting chipped from flying road debris or scraped from hitting a curb for a longer period of time. These acrylic enamel wheels performed for more than 1,000 hours in salt spray tests.
The automotive-rated center disc is raised and the stud holes are beveled and uncoated for better clamp force retention. This technology helps the wheel stay tight against your hub without the need for constant retightening.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Vesper Steel 10-spoke trailer wheel. It's a 15 by five inch and it's a five on four and a half inch lug pattern. Now, if you're not sure, on a odd wheel lug pattern, you need to measure directly across from the center of one lug hole diagonally across in between the center of the other two at the opposite side. Just like this image on the screen, that red line, that's how you're gonna measure that and make sure you're getting the right one for your specific application.
Now, getting into the wheel itself, again, it's a nice sturdy steel wheel with a 10-spoke design. So these 10 triangles going around there, that's what they consider that 10-spoke design. It's super durable. It's got a nice corrosion-resistant white acrylic enamel finish that's gonna resist chipping and other damage, and it's a lot better than powder coat finishes. And this finish is actually applied after they've already applied a zinc phosphate pretreatment, and then they cover all that up with an E-coat prime layer.
So it's a very, very nice corrosion-resistant. And it's also got a nice salt spray rating of more than 1,000 hours. Now the backside, they don't double coat that, just the side you see, but this still does have that first layer of finish on it as well. Now, it also has what's called a improved torque retention technology. So when they designed this wheel here, that technology helps to keep the wheel accurately and securely in place whenever it's installed.
Now, the stud holes are uncoated and they're beveled to offer a better clamp force retention. As you can see, the valve stem is included and the wheel meets all SAE J1204 standards. So again, folks, it's a 15 by five inch wheel. The bolt pattern, again, is a five on four and a half, and this pilot hole diameter is 3.31 inches. It's got a nice rating of 2,160 pounds and a very nice two-year limited warranty.
Now, the wheel bolt size where the studs go through, that's considered a half inch hole or a half inch by 20. Well folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up for our look at this Vesper steel 10 inch. or 10-spoke trailer wheel. Again, a 15 by five inch wheel with a five on four and a half inch lug pattern. I'm Steven, thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching, have a great day.

Great product, but one of the three wheels has an edge dent and scraped edge finish which implies that it was subjected to rough handling prior to or during shipment. Noticed damage after opening box and removing first wheel. It appears the edge dent was oriented toward bottom of box with no added padding. Chipouts and scrapes can be repaired with touch up enamel. May need to return shipment to eTrailer. Note that I've experienced rough handling of UPS shipments on many occasions.
Order was delivered on time as promised. Wheels looked good when taken out of the box. Bolted right up no problem.
Nice wheel. Will get a tire put on tomorrow. It came with a valve stem to boot.
Rims look great and solid. Shipped fast and packing was great. Fit perfectly on my trailer. I would definitely recommend this company for your rims. Thank-you very much!!
The wheel saved the day when people borrow a trailer they never seem to come back with the same stuff it left with
I spent considerable time looking for a rim that would match my ST225/75R15 Load Range E tires with a load rating of 2,830 lbs in a 15" X 6", 5 lug by 4.5". I found these rims on the etrailer site and ordered them even though some reviewers said the finish on the wheels was not good. I received them within 3 working days of my order. The rims are beautiful. The finish on the outside of the wheel rivals any modern car paint. I went through the trouble of putting each wheel, without a tire, on my static balancer and I was overjoyed to find all three of them to be in perfect balance. The wheels are obviously made of thicker steel and carry a DOT load rating of 2,830 lbs. as advertised. Perfect! My only suggestion is that the valve stems that came with the wheels have no documentation documenting their psi capacity. So, I had no choice but to also order a set of 80 psi valve stems for my 80 psi tires and cut off and throw away the stems that came with the wheels.
Just what we needed,fast shipping
I am very happy with the wheels and the service I received at etrailer. And the process was very easy and Cathy T. was great to work with, and when I asked questions about my situation, etrailer answered them quickly and helped me in making my decision. My trailer was built in 1984 and is, and has been, my hay trailer. I have only had these for about a month, but so far so good!
Thank you to everyone at etrailer!
I bought this wheel to use as a spare for my car trailer. I mounted one of my old tires to it and had it balanced, there were no issues. The paint on the out side of the wheel looks nice and even with good coverage. The paint on the part inside the wheel had some thin spots which I guess is okay it's inside the tire now. The over all quality of the wheel seems very good. This will work perfectly for my needs.
Everything has been performing as expected and the wheel still looks new!
etrailer came through, this was the only place I could find a 5x4.75" rim. Would have liked to have gotten a 14" but not a problem I can make up the difference on the tire dimension.
Painted steel wheels, fit my trailer perfectly. Unbelievable fast delivery. Exactly correct items. Great customer care. One of the best online stores anywhere. I highly recommend. Why would anyone not have a spare tire? Easy to attach spare tire carrier.
Our wheels came on a timely manner and were just as advertised. They look great and the valve stems were correct for what we needed. Haven't pulled the trailer down the road yet, will know more then. Great company to work with will definitely pass it on.
awesome deal.
i got them for my 1950 gmc 150 deluxe pickup to replace the split rims & the 16.5s. im very happy with this purchase.
they will look great with some new gmc clips & caps & biased big whitewalls under my pickup.
they are painted. not powder coated but cant beat the price & free shipping.... thanks... ????????
These wheels were just what I needed. Great quality for an affordable price. I have an old hay wagon that needed wheels, after going to our local trailer and tractor store they told me they couldn't get them. Shipped right away and arrived in great time even with the New Year Holiday. I will definitely be using you guys for my future trailer needs.
Fast delivery and a perfect fit. Look good too. Personal service. Was recommended by my dad, now I recommend to you. Thanks.
Great quality and ready to use out of the box. Very happy with purchase and highly recommend after a years use. When they need replacing I will be buying again.
This is the first time I bought anything from etrailer. I got to say I'm very please with the product and the timely delivery. I had my rims early than what I expected. Instead of 5-7 day delivery I had them in two days. Very please! Plus it makes my trailer look a lot better. Thank you etrailer.
I must have an odd bolt pattern because etrailer was the only place I could find this pattern. Thank you etrailer for stocking these and they work perfectly.
Not Happy!!!! I spoke with a male rep and shame on me did not get his name. He advised me how to measure the holes to determine the correct size. I did as advised and ended up with the wrong rims. I spoke with Nicole H today who was extremely helpful. She emailed the diagram to measure correctly and helped to order the correct size. She also advised me the person I spoke with did not put notes in the system so we may have to pay return shipping. Nicole stated she would put in a request however I may still have to pay the shipping fee.
Nicole H was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The person we spoke with originally should pay our shipping fee. The star rating is for the male I spoke with and not Nicole H.
Paint was all chipped on both inner and outer lips and pin stripes smudged. Needed them asap for a 400 mile trip. I mean they’re wheels but how hard is it to paint a wheel.
nice affordable rim, but shipping and packaging is terrible, paint chips and small dents in bead every time i order rims from etrailer.
So far so good. Let me tow my equipment for a few miles and see then.
Condition: Surface Scratches
Notes: Item has minor cosmetic paint chips around the edge. Otherwise new and unused.
