Replacement Tire and Wheel Options for 20.5x8.0-10 Size Trailer Tires With 4 Lug Wheels

Question:

I have a trailer needing new tires. The tires currently on it are 20.5 x 8 0 -10. I think they are overkill for what I need. The wheels are 4 lug. What size tire would work with this trailer? I am on with buying a different size wheel/tire combo

We have a handful of options that come in different load sizes which will replace your current 20.5x8.0-10 size tires. The tire size 205/65-10 is the replacement size and is slightly smaller than your current tire.

The 205/65-10 size tire with white wheel combinations are:

Load Range B, # AM3H330 - max load rating 910 lbs at 35 psi
Load Range C, # AM3H370 - max load rating 1,100 lbs at 50 psi
Load Range D, # AM3H410 - max load rating 1,320 lbs at 70 psi
Load Range E, # AM3H460 - max load rating 1,650 lbs at 90 psi

These are also available with a Galvanized wheel:

Load Range B, # AM3H340 - max load rating 910 lbs at 35 psi
Load Range C, # AM3H380 - max load rating 1,100 lbs at 50 psi
Load Range D, # AM3H420 - max load rating 1,330 at 70 psi
Load Range E, # AM3H470 - max load rating 1,650 lbs at 90 psi

To decide which tire and wheel combination to get, all you need to do is pick the load range that will be able to handle the weight for your application and whichever wheel style suits you best. The wheels that come with this size tire are all 4 lugs so they will fit on your trailer just fine.

I have also included some demonstration videos and links to helpful articles that you can view as well.
