These lights have been an outstanding upgrade from the original incandescent brake/turn/tail/reverse lights on my department's 1992 water tanker. The diodes in the lights are really bright and can be seen clearly at nighttime or during the day. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

Working fine to date.

We wanted to update the look of our old school buses with new LED bulbs. It was easy to change out the fixtures. Great improvements versus the incandescent bulbs. We had the new LEDs running within 30 minutes.

  • How to Connect the # STL42RB Tail Lights to a 1958 Trailer with 2 Wire Lighting System
The 4 inch Round Sealed LED Stop, Turn or Tail Light, item # STL42RB, uses a 3 wire pig tail, item # A47PB or # A45PB, to connect to your existing trailer wiring. The plug on the pigtail plugs into the back of the tail light and is then hard wired to your trailer wiring. It sounds as if your original tail lights were grounded to the trailer frame through their mounting studs, so a third wire was not needed. When connecting the 3 wires from the 3 wire pig tail, you will ground the white...

  • Recommended Amber Side Marker Light for Snowmobile Trailer
I highly recommend the Optronics Sealed, Mini Rectangular LED Trailer Clearance, Side Marker Light # MCL95AB. This is an LED light which is 2-1/8" long x 1-1/8" wide x 1-1/16" deep and mounts by plated steel stud on base of light. It has gotten close to 200 reviews from our customers who have used it and a nearly 5-star review. I've added a link to a review video of the light for you to take a look at.

  • What I Need To Install LED Trailer Lights On A Tent Trailer
I have the perfect way for you to install tailights on your tent trailer with everything you will need although it will not come in a kit.You will want to piece together a lighting assembly for your tent trailer with your exact specifications, which I have done for you. For a set of round, surface mounted, LED taillights, I recommend using the Transit Tail Light part # STL90RB. These taillights are 7" wide X 1-7/16" thick and will work well for you. We also have a similar set of running...

  • High-Efficiency LED Trailer Lights to Increase Visibility
High-efficiency LED-type trailer lighting offers a great way to add visibility to a trailer without creating potential overload concerns for the vehicle wiring that powers them. Since LEDs use only about 1/10th the power of standard incandescent lights they are definitely the way to go for your lots-of-lights application. Also, LEDs do not tend to grow dim as they age, the way incandescent lights do. I have included a link to our pedestal (stud)-mount square LED taillights. These are red...

  • Pedestal Mount Warning Lights for Use on a Truck
We have several pedestal mount lights that might work for you. I have included a link to the right to the options. Some of them probably would not work for you but something like # STL52ARB is probably more what you are looking for. This particular light is amber on one side and red on the other. I have linked a video review for you.

  • Replacement Lens For 7" Round Amber Light Using 4 Mounting Holes
The Lens # A90AB you found is our only 7" round amber lens. This is a replacement for the 7" Round Transit Turn Signal Light # ST90AB. We do have an LED # STL90AB version of this light as well but no lens only for the LED version.

  • Amber LED Trailer Tail Light Recommendation for an Offroad Buggy
For an LED light, the more diodes the brighter it will be. The Single-Face LED Parking/Turn Signal Light, # STL90AB, has 31 large diodes which is among the highest so it should be bright enough for you. Another option is the LED Trailer Turn Signal and Parking Light, # STL70AB, which is a 6-1/2 inch oval. It has 48 smaller diodes. For this light you would also nee a pig tail, # A46PB, and a grommet, # a70gb.

  • Separating Brake and Turn Signals, Adding a Reverse Light, and Ramp Door Support for a Trailer
First, trailers in the US use what is called a combined 2-wire system. The brake lights and turn signals are on the same circuit on each side. The turn signal overrides the brake light on the side blinking. In order to have separate turn signals you would need additional amber turn signals and you would need to do some rewiring. On the trailer side you would need to install a special converter, # 118158. The combined left turn/brake wire connects to the yellow input wire, right turn and...
