Secure Locking Mechanism
This door lock has a disc tumbler locking mechanism. Unlike locks that use vulnerable spring-loaded pins, this ultra-secure lock is bump-proof. The cylinder has a series of rotating discs that can be correctly lined up only when you turn the corresponding key. Two identical notched keys are included to operate the lock. Because these keys feature 1 of nearly a million possible key codes, it's extremely unlikely that another individual will have a key that can open this lock.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this AMPLock roll-up door lock for enclosed trailers. This is a tamper-resistant sturdy lock that's going to help deter theft by adding an extra layer of security to your roll-up door. This is going to cover the hasp on your door's latch to keep it from being opened by any would-be thieves. On the side here, we do have our cover that's going to protect our lock core, but we can just flip that up, and so we can access the lock core. This is a rotating disc tumbler that's going to provide maximum security for us.
This is resistant to picking and drilling, so it's going to hold up well, even against very determined thieves. You can just twist our lock with our key and then pull it out. You can see our push and lock cylinder here is going to pull out for us. That's going to open up that connection there, and when we're ready to lock it, we just push that back in place. It's going to lock in place so that no one can come along and open it up.
So this is going to be a very secure locking mechanism. It's got nearly a million different possible key codes. So even if someone we're to have the exact same model, it's extremely unlikely that they'll be able to use their keys to open up your lock. So really very secure system here for you. To get that opened up again, just turn the key and then pull it out, like so.
This is constructed of a heavy-duty cast iron so it is gonna be very sturdy. It's gonna absorb shock to help prevent any breaking. It's also gonna resist any kind of cutting, including with a torch or liquid nitrogen. And so it is gonna be very sturdy and dependable for us. Does have an E-coat finish to help resist corrosion.
