Today we're going to take a look at the LED drivers side, submersible seven function trailer tail light with the red lens. Now this is a square trailer light for your driver's side of your trailer. It provides seven functions. It'll provide the stop, turn and tail, the side marker, the side reflex, the rear reflex and the license plate light functions. Does use LED diodes for the stop and turn and tail light. They use 12 of them.

For the side marker light it's two of them and on the bottom license plate light would be four of them. It is a red lens over the white LED's and these LED's do make great replacements for incandescent lights because they'll last 50 times longer. They're more efficient. They'll provide brighter light with less power output and of course no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break. This is a sealed, waterproof housing and lens unit.

Makes it submersible so it is great for Marine applications.I had mentioned the reflex reflectors. You can see right over here on the side and right here on the rear. These reflex reflectors will remove the need for any separate reflectors on your trailer. This is all in a durable plastic housing. Has the screw-on acrylic lens and this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems.

You can see on the back here it is a two wire design. The brown wire that's connected to your taillights and the yellow wire would be for your stop and turn lights. Now it does ground through these mounting studs. The wire leads, the length on these is about 16 inches. It is a stud mount to the trailer with the included studs and nuts.

This slide is DOT, Department of Transportation compliant and again this is for the driver's side because it does have the license plate light on it.We do also sell this light in the passenger side. Last thing I want to do is give you some dimensions and then we're going to hook it up just to show you how it operates and how bright it is. The width on it is going to be all the way from here to here overall width, you're looking right at about 5 3/8 inches wide. The height on it, it's going to be right at 4 3/4 inches tall. And the total depth on it front the back is going to be right at 2 3/4 inches deep. Now on the mounting studs, the distance between the two mounting studs, center to center is right on two inches. Again, what we're going to do is I'm going to hook this up. We'll go ahead and hook up our tail lights and we'll go ahead and look up our stop and turn.And then I have our ground and as I mentioned we're going to hook that to this stud because it'll ground through this stud. If we hook that up to the stud and if I go ahead and turn my power on, there you can see your stop, turn and tail lights, side marker, oops. And then if I turn it there, looks like we're losing connection, at the very bottom, you can see we have our license plate lights. I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. And there you can see the taillights, side marker lights, and down here you can see the license plate lights. Now if we go with the brake light, you can see when the brake lights applied, it's a lot brighter. And then if we do our turn signal, you can see the turn signal is also the brighter light. I'll go ahead and turn on our overhead lights. We're going to disconnect it.
