Today we're going to take a look at the one-in-three 1/4 inch long nylon bushing for a trailer leaf spring. Now these nylon bushing is designed for use with a trailer suspension system. Basically, you just insert this into the eye of a leaf spring to ensure proper sizing for your suspension bolts. This is a durable black nylon construction. A few dimensions on this, outside overall diameter is going to be right at 11/16 of an inch. Inner diameter is 1/2 inch.
Total length, 1 3/4 inches, and it for a quantity of one bushing. That should do it for the review on the 1 3/4 inch long nylon bushing for a trailer leaf spring.

I made sure my spring eyelets were rust and debris free, which helped the bushings press right into the proper location.
Just what ineeded
The outside diameter is not 11/16", it is smaller. I wanted these for my new leafsprings and was told they would fit after knocking out the existing bushings. Because they are smaller than 11/16" they pass right through the eye with no resistance. I called and was told a tech rep would call me right back to discuss this and no one ever called.

Very pleased to find these non-standard nylon bushings with the correct interior diameter and outer diameter to work with my 1/2" shackle bolts (also from you) and with my new leaf springs. Thanks for the service.
I'm currently in-process with a very thorough rebuild of a 70's era Comet motorcycle trailer, and am trying to stay as true to it's original build as possible. It appears that one of the original leaf springs had failed and been replaced with a bad match and one of the original weld-up hubs was not running very true. The e-trailer web-site has been really helpful, providing a wealth of tips and videos to inform my purchases and work, and is easy to navigate. At this point I have placed and received two orders of electrical and mechanical component parts on-time and entirely as expected. Ricky provided great follow-communication on the second order. Nice to find these on the site. The default bushings on my leaf springs were 5/8" ID. It's nice to have bushings that fit the bolts, eliminating any slop in the fit.
I could not find many of the local retailers carrying the leaf spring bushing size I needed. etrailer has them and my order was shipped and delivered on time.
