Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a real quick look at this spring seat. This spring seat is gonna be a necessary component for your trailer's suspension system. It will weld onto a round four inch diameter axle and those are typically your 9,000 pound capacity axles. And this will work with a one and a three quarter inch or two inch wide springs.
You can see that whole cutout that we have there on the flat side that's going to surround the raised knob on the leaf springs to prevent turning or shifting. That's gonna provide the extra support and positioning that the trailer axle needs. You are gonna need two of these spring seats for each axle, one for each side. So make sure that you have sufficient amounts for the number of axles that you're gonna be putting on. That completes our look for today.
