Although it's a trailer jack I used this and one I previously bought as outriggers to support my home built log splitter. They keep things solid when handling large logs using the hydraulic crane and electric winch to lift and place the logs on the splitter cradle.
Neen going strong for over a year, I don't have any doubt of unhooking the trailer with it still loaded

these worked out excellent for my project. i bought two 5k tongue jacks and mounted them behind rear axle to frame, left and right sides. this allows me to very easily level my trailer without having to put blocks under wheels. Trailer is very stable when in use, and is so fast when setting up and takedown.

Well built great quality
The jacks have been working very well for us. We use them on our fire pump test trailer. They are used to support the 3000 gals of water in the tank while we are performing pump capacity test for local fire depts. They replaced lighter duty jacks. We replaced two last year and just purchased two more this year to complete the change over.
This jack was poorly assembled, the jack was barely useable, as the gears barely touched causing it to skip and strip the tops of the gears. We had to use a hydraulic jack to lift the trailer off of the ball to separate the truck and trailer. Took the jack completely apart, spent two hours to adjust shims that are washers to raise main gear to turn handle gear. The gears are now fully engaged together, the jack works correctly as it was designed.
I called in for support regarding this product, replacing a bulldog 2,000lb sidewinder jack originally supplied on my trailer. I wanted to upsize to this larger unit as the previous one was barely adequate. I discussed the dimensions and availability in stock. etrailer support was very helpful with the specs and ordering process. I received the item quickly and was exactly as presented at a great price. I cut the bracket from my old unit, mig welded it onto this new unit and it works like a charm. Definitely a positive experience. Highly recommended to buy from etrailer!
Great jack, once installed. Could come with a mounting bracket or some way to mount it. If we didn't have welding capabilities there wouldn't have been a way to attach it. Other than that, it is a great jack that works a lot better than the small flimsy jack that came on our 16' enclosed trailer.
Just got the trailer-jack and haven't welded it on yet, so this is just about the service- Helen was superb! Highly knowledgeable and helpful and the whole process was painless and the product was here before I was even ready to put it on.

Needed to replace a jack that have been ruined by someone who didn't understand the concept of a drop foot. After a couple local stops looking for a replacement at Farm Stores I decided to go to etrailer again. I've used them many times in the past and I don't know what I was thinking by driving around. I needed a very exact application tongue jack. Etrailer had all of the Bulldog line and I easily found what I needed. Shipping was fast. I'm a big fan of etrailer
This is the same jack we put on the trailer when we built it in 1993 it was still working until someone towed it with the jack down too low, very good jack, and very fast shipping.
