Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this DeeMaxx Galvanized Trailer Idler Hub. This marine-grade trailer hub assembly is going to fit your 8,000 pound trailer idler axle, the #42 spindle, and the long wheel studs are going to let you pair this with an over-the-hub brake rotor for disc brake applications or a custom wheel with a thick mounting face. Now, this features a galvanized steel construction that is both durable and corrosion resistant, so this is going to be great for use on your boat trailers or snowmobile trailers. Now, the bolt pattern here is 8 on 6 1/2 inches, the wheel stud dimensions, beginning with the diameter, is 5/8 of an inch in diameter and 3 3/16 inches long, and the grease cap flange diameter is 2.72 inches. This has a weight capacity of 4,000 pounds, so when this one is matched with one on the other side of your axle, it will meet your 8,000 pound axle capacity. Now, this does include the races, they are pre-installed, but the bearings and the grease seal and the grease cap are sold separately, so on your screen, I am including that information for you.
The bearings, the numbers on the bearings, the inner bearing is, as you see there on your screen, 25580, the outer bearing is gonna be 02475, and the races, again, they are already pre-installed in this assembly, but the numbers there, the inner race is 25520 and the outer race is 02420, and then the grease seal, that's gonna be sold separately as well as I mentioned, that's going to use GS-2250DL, and you can find those separate items here at etrailer.com. Now, I weighed this assembly before our time together, and it weighs right at about 16 1/2 pounds. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today, I do hope that it was helpful for you.
