I recommend adding a wiring kit to your vehicle to control your trailers lighting functions. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118723 is a confirmed fit for your Pacifica. It installs behind the rear tail lights with a plug in adapter that requires no cutting or splicing of wires.
I also recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This kit provides you with the ball mount and 2" ball you will need for towing as well as a hitch mount lock that will prevent theft.
