Frame-Mount Platform Style 4 Bike Rack That Can Be Reduced To 2 Bike Rack
Question:
Looking for a bike rack for my ram 1500. I want to be able to carry 4 bikes but having the option to reduce the rack down for two bikes most the time. Our bikes have fenders and I do like the racks with support for the wheels. What do you recommend for me.

I have a great solution for you to carry 4 bikes on the back of your 2016 Ram 1500.
The Swagman Quad 2+2 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # S64FR is exactly what you need. This will transport 4 bikes, or can be reduced down to a 2 bike carrier with a simple unbolting process. It has a weight capacity of 45lbs per bike and fits a 2" receiver.
This bike rack allows up to 3" wide tires. If you plan to transport bikes with wider tires, I recommend the Fat Bike Adapter Kit # S64694 which allows up to 5" wide tires.
If you do not already have a 2" hitch receiver, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98852 is a great choice and will work well for you.
I have attached demonstration videos for these products.
