With the SuperHitch Original's 2 receivers, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver of the SuperHitch so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of high-capacity hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper, while still allowing for an excellent towing capacity. An ordinary hitch extender can dramatically reduce your towing capacity. But each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the SuperHitch that the setup is able to maintain one of the highest weight capacities in the industry. When used with a standard weight distribution system, the setup can maintain up to a 10,000-lb weight limit, even with an extension that is 60" long. As a result, you can clear almost any truck bed camper and still do some heavy-duty towing.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow, as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. Each SuperHitch is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

Arrived quickly in a few days. A heavy duty hitch that installed easy. A extra hand or a floor jack makes installing a breeze. Removing the stock Ford hitch was easy as well.

Toyota FJ Cruiser

The product was received quickly and complete. This solved a need for a 48" extension rated at 600# tongue and 6000# tow weight without an equalizer hitch. I have an F350 with a Lance Camper in the bed that extends a couple feet beyond the back of the bed. Depending on the mission, I tow a Toyota FJ, loaded onto a Demco Tow Dolly with surge brakes, for off road exploring or a Wellcraft Excalibur 230 boat, also with surge brakes, for lake outings. Drivability with both is rock solid with this hitch and extension system.

by:

Everything was there and correct. Fit perfect. Quality equipment

by:

It's a little pricey, but well worth the peace of mind knowing that you and your family are safe going down the road.

by:

Phone tech support was right on with hooking me up with the proper hitch and camper tie-downs for my application. Pricey of the TorkLift hitch, camper tie downs, and 2' double extended tow bar. Upside these are quality products that are made to do the job. Thanks to all tech support for their help!

This is a great product. We'll worth the money

No review yet since I have not seen the hitch; it was delivered to my brother's house in SC and I am in Alaska. But I am headed down that way over the weekend to install the hitch on my truck down there. If you really want a star rating though, I would give the service from etrailer a 5 star. Shipping was quicker than expected.

Ford F-350 Super Duty

Very solid, well made, heavy duty hitch. We bought this to use with the three foot extension to pull our boat when the slide in camper is mounted in the truck bed. We mounted this on an F350 Super Duty dually. Super heavy duty construction and fairly straight forward installation.
The folks at Etrailer are very helpful. Someone is always available to answer questions and their shipping is almost instant. You can order with confidence from these folks and they have many videos to walk you through installation of many of their products. Happy customer here!
As soon as I find some photos, I will post them.

Heavy Duty! Glad I had a neighbor to help with the installation, especially since he is a Ford certified diesel mechanic , made it a breeze. Torklift makes their stuff the best it can be made and ETrailer is where I buy all my towing needs and accessories, they assign one person to take ownership of your order and they make sure it gets done correctly. Ready to pull my various trailers behind my truck camper now. Thanks Dana for all the help!

2004 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty

Heavy duty hitch upon comparison to OEM hitch on my 2004 F 250 Super Duty that came with the factory towing package. Install was simple and straightforward as per easy to understand directions. Only difficult part was removing OEM hitch as Ford used some tough type of heavy duty lock-tite on the OEM hitch bolts. Had to heat nuts/bolts with a torch to melt lock-tite in order for my air impact gun to loosen the bolts.

by:

The superhitch was very easy to install with great instructions. The hitch worked great with my camper and extended 48” torque lift stinger for pulling my boat. Super happy with the product and glad I bought it.

by:

Received quickly but the box was showing signs that a struggle had taken place and the box lost. Upon opening the boxes I found that several pieces from the installation kit were missing, I called and an entire new installation kit was quickly shipped to me. Installation was easy and I have been very happy with the customer service.

2006 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty

The unit was easy to install. It's a great product. I like the fact that it's in 3 pieces which helps the "do it yourselfer" with installation. The hitch got here in a very very timely fashion. As a matter of fact it had got here a day early. I'm very satisfied with the hitch and the service I received from E-Trailer. I will be buying all my products from them in the future. Thanks E-Trailer! You made my life easier.

by:

Super fast FREE shipping! Easy installation! Much cheaper purchasing through etrailer than any trailer supply shops near my home! I’m a local business supporter but the speed of shipping and price was to good to pass up!

by:

Easy upgrade from the factory hitch. Getting the spare tire down and back up was the hardest part of the install process. It wasnt too bad to do it alone but a second person would've been nice.

by:

We never give reviews but we had the best experience from start to finish. Ordering was easy, customer service was awesome which you rarely find anymore, we received it sooner than we thought we would and it was the best price that we found.... Thank you etrailer.com

by:

Works great but very disappointed with the paint they used. Not even 6 months and most of the paint has chipped off leaving surface rust all over it.

Excellent system to hold my camper and pull my boat at same time . Very well constructed and high quality materials, recommend 100%

Shipped to Alaska with reasonable rates. Product was shipped out within 24 hours of order and arrived 2-3 days later. Boxes were well prepared for a long journey and arrived in excellent condition. Product prices were also as good or better than other sites I could find. I have yet to install what ordered, and if anything changes I will update this review. So far I will be ordering from this company again. Many thanks for the great service.

  • Can TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extensions Be Used In Gen-Y Stacked Receivers
Hi Wayne, The TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers # TLE1536 is designed only to be used with TorkLift SuperHitch trailer hitch receivers and would not be a fit with the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers # 325-GH-623. You would need the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1002 on your 2015 F-350 in order to use the # TLE1536.

  • Hitch For 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty to Add 30 Inch Hitch Extender
I can certainly understand not wanting to change hitches on your 2001 Ford F-250, but the only way to safely utilize a hitch extension that long is to replace your Ford's hitch with a TorkLift hitch, and use one of the TorkLift extensions. Assuming your '01 F-250 does have the standard bumper, what you will need in order to do this are the following: - TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1002 - TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension - 28" Long # TLE1528 or 32" Long #...

So you would need new tie-downs and hardware, which do come with them. The TorkLift Tie-Downs # TLF2012 and # TLR3503 are correct for your 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty with the SuperHitch Original # TLF1002 as long as it's a short bed and you don't have a board or step that runs under the truck bed. These tie-downs actually install directly to the trailer hitch so you'll need to install the hitch first, and then the tie-downs. Otherwise you'd need a different set of tie-downs and then you'll have to change the rear-most set out when you install the SuperHitch...
