What Is the Longest Trailer Hitch Extender for a 2000 Ford F-350

I have a 2inch receiver on my truck what is the longest extention that it will handle for a camper

Expert Reply:
The trailer hitch extenders we have for a 2" receiver tube will range in length from 7-3/8" - 48". However, there is not a maximum length for any one particular truck as it will vary based on how heavy of a trailer you will be using and what trailer hitch you have. The longer the hitch extender is, the less weight you will be able to pull. The longer hitch extenders over 18" (TorkLift SuperTruss) require a certain trailer hitch to be used.
The longest trailer hitch extender we have for your 2000 Ford F-350 that does not require a certain trailer hitch is the Curt Extender for 2" Receivers part # C45796 which measures 18" long and has a weight capacity of 3,500 lbs or 50% of the truck's hitch.
If you were to install the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLF1002 you could then go up to 48" with the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension part # TLE1548. This setup will only limit you to a weight capacity of 6,000/12,000 lbs.
