The muffler/tail pipe has very little clearance to the hitch. This causes rattling noise when car is idling at stop or when hitting small bumps.
Currently looking for fix to this problem. I suspect other Juke owners with this hitch have same issue. Not sure if extended muffler hangers are an option.
Very nice hitch....clean looking install. Installation video says to use a brush to clean threads...had to use thread chaser but that's all about the car not the hitch. Would highly recommend
All came as ordered. All installed correctly. Very pleased with the results.
This trailer hitch works really well! I have towed a few things with it and haven't had any problems towing, it just rubs against my muffler every time I drive...
Installation was easy, and exactly as described in the enclosed instructions. It was a little difficult removing the rubber muffler hangers, but once I got that done, the rest was easy and fast. The hitch fit perfectly, and the entire installation took one hour. This company contacted me twice to make sure I received the package and was happy with the product. There is really no way to improve their services! By the way, I did not jack up the vehicle, there was plenty of room to work underneath. Wear safety glasses!
The Hitch in perfect condition, arrived on the scheduled day, the tracking was very effective.
I only have one complaint and that is the screws, they were not the same size as the chassis of my 2011 juke so it caused me problems to get them and have to adapt them.
So I had to spend a lot of extra money and time to install them correctly.

Thank you for your review. It sounds like your weld nuts need to be cleaned. I will attach an article about it. We cant recommend the use of different hardware and it will void your warranty.

Actually it works very well, its a product I recommend buying, just be aware that the muffler sticks to the rack so I had to adjust the rubber bands that hold the muffler on. But the rack works and has been my hero loading my bikes on my 2011 juke.
My hitch serves its purpose excellently! I keep my bike rack on it year-round, and while I’m not actually towing with it, it allows me to get my mountain bike to the trailhead with ease! Love it!

Still super satisfied! I keep my bike rack hooked up year round and I’m stoked it’s so easy with my hitch!
Product was exactly as described and installed easily but it was a little heavy, I would recommend someone to help install.
its been one year, every time im turning left, i can ear my muffler knocking on the hitch. installation was easy for the hitch and harness. good video to show how to do A+ for that!!

A hitch and exhaust can cause sometimes come into contact with each other due to loose tolerances on exhaust location from the vehicle manufacturers. I have linked a help article that covers some tips and solutions to correct this exhaust rattle.

Fast shipping, quality products,after figuring things out and my sons help, installing was slightly easy,
Looks great & is very hidden. I would suggest two people to install....I did it alone so it's not impossible, but two would've been MUCH easier. Does not make contact with exhaust, as I heard some people say. Good purchase!
The hitch mounted fairly easily.
However the exhaust pipe knocks against it. We contacted CURT, the manufacturer and they said sorry but didn’t offer any solutions or remedies. ?? bummer.
So now we get to listen to our investment on bumpy roads.
The hitch itself is of good quality, just not properly designed.
Installation was well detailed in instructions, and unit fit very nicely. Most time consumed was in getting the exhaust isolators off their mounts. Not a whole lot of room under the Juke, but this receiver hugs every corner and looks exceptional. Bike rack fits perfectly now.
Very solid hitch, no issues rubbing exhaust, installed on my 2013 Juke AWD. Pretty easy to install, hardest part for me was dropping the exhaust by removing the rubber dampers. Very happy with the purchase and performance.

I’m really happy with the trailer hitch now, but it was not very easy to install.
Went on without having to change, scrape or modify anything and it lets me pull my 3-place motorcycle trailer around (loaded, of course) when my truck isn't available. I LOVE it!

Installed and functions. Was easy to get it mounted and bolted into place. The muffler has no issues with it.
