What Stabilizing Strap is used and Attachment to the Curt Hitch # C11088 on a 2011 Nissan Juke AWD
Question:
Hi, In the description for C11088, it says stablizing straps are required for Bike Racks etc... I am planning on using this for a bike rack. What do I need to purchase in addition to the hitch? And what is the required installation for the straps? Also, you have any pictures of this hitch mounted on a Juke?

You will need to purchase the Curt Bike Rack Strap with Cambuckle, item # 18050, or a similar strap, along with the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, item, # C11088, for your All Wheel Drive Juke.
The plastic coated clip on one end of the strap installs in the lip of the rear hatch, and the other end is looped around the bike rack threaded through the cambuckle and tightened to alleviate the stress on the hitch from bouncing and torque applied to the hitch with bikes and bike rack installed.
Any strap that will work with your bike rack and safely attach to the back of the vehicle will work.
At this time we have not had the opportunity to do an installation or take photos of this hitch on the Juke but I do have a photo from the manufacturer for you, see photo at right.
